It is a huge responsibility to charge a person to help them with treatment for Behaviorial health and then when a patient has to leave the area to get family suport to not provide remote care until you have transitioned the patient to a new provider in their new area of residence. You have the in-depth knowledge in many cases after seeing a patient multiple times and to lack the care for a patient to transition them lovingly to a new provider with virtual consultation as needed during this transition when the patient needs your support, not lack of willingness to guide a vulnerable person to a new provider, especially after hospitalization. This is a disgrace to patients who trusted!

But at times the appointment time you'll get in fast with no waiting all depends on the day you come see the doctor. Plenty of seating and parking as well but very limited handicapped parking spots. I used to live in Cordele and happily drove two hours round trip to see him monthly; I would gladly drive further if I needed to. I've been seeing various psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists etc for over 10 years now all over south GA, from Forsyth to Valdosta, and Jonathan is so completely different than anyone else. If you want a counselor who just sits silently, takes notes, and asks "how did that make you feel," don't go to Jonathan. If you want someone who is an attentive listener, caring, invested, energetic, empathetic, and incredibly smart and driven - then DO. I look forward to seeing him and if I could afford it I'd go weekly. He legitimately keeps me sane and has been key in my journey to finding mental health while struggling with clinical depression/anxiety, trauma, and high stress living. I couldn't recommend him enough - in fact, I recommend him to anyone looking for a therapist, and my friends that have gone to see him have also loved his work.
