So much so that I could barely keep a conversation with guests who were off the dance floor bc the beats just kept drawing me back!!! From our very first conversation about the party theme, I knew I could trust DJ Robert. He asked great questions about the type of vibe and feeling I wanted for my guests. He got clear about the throwback era I was looking for and determined where and how to bring in his creativity too. He invited me to share a playlist of some of my favorites and generously encouraged me to invite guests to contribute as well. He was easy to work with and connected with my venue and event planners directly for the prep and setup which was so great. Party guests clearly had a fantastic night - and boy had we all needed it after years of Covid-driven isolation. I can't speak to the craziness behind the scenes that I'm sure ensues, but at front of stage, they pull off amazing events. The staff is always professional and fun, the A/V is always spot on, and the entertainment they bring in is second to none. Recently I was on a Zoom event from them with magicians, mentalists, jugglers, musicians and game show hosts. There were 100s of "attendees" and we could break out into various break-out rooms for more intimate shows. It was about 2.5 hours and kept everyone's attention. I tried to blend an event with a website PR article I was doing, and some dumb kid called the website and said I was claiming to be the website owner, which was totally BS and got me tossed off any more work. Everyone even had the emails that proved me right but could never get the situation solved. This was some time ago. I don't hold a grudge any more, I already know the Scottsdale party/club thing is all puff, full of posers, so that is just the way it is. But when dealing with this crowd I suggest you get EVERYTHING IN WRITING and save every thing.

I went with a good friend, had two red bulls, and danced my feet off. I will not be going to the nightclub scene anytime soon, once every 3 years is fine for me, however Raven Events offers business to business mixers that I plan on checking out. Scottsdale (not my scene) to much filler (if you know what I mean) and not much substance from a lot of the women I met........ but it was Scottsdale. Raven herself was however, sweet kind and the real deal.

It was the biggest mistake I've ever make, no exaggeration. They were over priced , asking for $1500 to begin and eventually we settled on $900, which I've heard is still more then typical. We met at a local bakery to confirm all of the details, what music to play when etc. They no showed to our rehearsal dinner, and ruined our ceremony. The music I walked in to was not what I chose, and skipped and cut out as I awkwardly tried to walk down the aisle. Then, to top it all off, the music I selected for us to leave the ceremony to was the one song I asked not to be played at all. The rehearsal music dragged on and he did everything out of the order he said he was going to do it. I am not some crazy bride bummed that things didn't go as planned, I expected glitches on our big day.. But the things that went wrong were all his fault, and he made no apologies. I still haven't watched my wedding video because of how horrible things went with him. Stay far away.
