Our committee was debating whether to do all of the planning and people finding on our own, but we were all reluctant to sign a contract with a hotel, front a deposit and have to devote hours to people finding. We also wanted something a bit more causual than the standard sit-down dinner and wanted to it all for a more affordable price. We worked with a reunion company for our 10 year, and had heard that other classes didn't have great experiences with that company, so sought out feedback for new reunion companies. We found a few people, including Pete with Reunion Coordinator. We were instantly impressed with Pete and his professionalism, but had some concerns since it was a newer branch of his business and we weren't sure his company would really profit just on negotiated discounts he could tap into through a parent company. Needless to say we ended up signing a contract with Reunion Coordinator. Pros included very personable staff, willing to coach us along the way, Cons, included having to people ourselves, through facebook, which ended up being a daunting task, but in the end managable. The Venue was beautiful (Pointe Tapitio), but the ticket price (near $60 per person) was still a very high price-point for a few appetizers. The name tag lanyards, DJ and photographer were professional and helped the event really feel like something special. It was so much fun looking through all of the photos that RC sent out to attendees (through the RC facebook page). The photos were down-loadable so many of us posted them to our facebook pages and were able to share our evening with others via the photos. Our committee also hosted a family picnic with about a 25-35 person turn out. It was nice to provide all classmates including those who coudln't afford Sat. night or who weren't into a party scene with a chance to come (with or without kids). The price was perfect at $6 per person to $15 per family. All in all it was a great weekend, which I'm glad to now put past me (I haven't logged onto facebook since posting a few reunion posts -I don't want to see that site for another 10 years!). I highly recommend RC, particularly since they are working on bringing down the Saturday night price-points. read more

As soon as High School ended, I started getting excited for my reunion. High school is suppose to be the most important four years of ones life and I loved the idea of seeing everyone every ten years. The years chugged along and finally I started hearing buzz on Facebook about our reunion. I joined the committee and right away got worried about costs. Luckily, Reunion Coordinator was able to help my class (Go Tigers!) have a spectacular reunion at no out of pocket cost to me. They helped us find a beautiful location, they signed contracts for us and their ticket price was ALL INCLUSIVE. My classmates and I had an amazing DJ that kept the floor pumping. Our photographer had props and made everyone feel at ease. I was able to get pictures with my fiance and friends and they didn't limit us at to how many photos we took. The photos were made available online soon after the reunion which was convenient. They also had appetizers served. It was nice to know that if my dinner prior to arriving did not tide me over, I had a several options to nosh on. There is no way my class and I would have been able to pull of that caliber of reunion without Reunion Coordinator. We would have struggled to find an affordable location and there is no way we would have been able to have all of those extras. I also have to mention my Coordinator. She was amazing. She walked us through each step of the process, she handled the endless questions I seemed to come up with and she was there for my Class on the big night. She was very involved. Setting up a ten year reunion might be difficult, but involvement in any way is even more difficult from the other side of the country. The planning committee of my school counted on a recommendation for Reunion Coordinator from our school's previous class, and I have to say, it was the smartest decision of the planning process that could have ever been made. Our coordinator, Paige, was above and beyond encouraging and approached every aspect of the planning process with insight, thoughtful creativity, and refreshing ideas. Even though my involvement with planning the event was limited because I live so far away, because of Paige's effective communication, I felt like I was fully informed and involved. She treated our event as if it were being done for a personal friend, and her knowledge of how to run these events put our minds at ease. There was no need to stress or worry about what kind of impression our reunion would make on our peers because Paige helped set the positive tone from day one. Needless to say, our reunion was more than what we could have asked for, and everyone involved had simply the best night ever. My high school just celebrated our 10 year reunion. We were contacted by Pete from Reunion Coordinator about a year ago wanting to know if we were interested in having their company help us plan. Most of us all live all over the country now, so having a company help us plan this huge event sounded very enticing. The committee did our research and met/ conference called with Pete to go over logistics before deciding to have them help us out. Pete and Paige from Reunion Coordinator were absolutely amazing! Our venue was fabulous (The Saquaro Hotel). The entire evening was extremely organized. The lanyards, DJ, Photographer, appetizers, bar were very well orchestrated. They even had the pictures ready on Face Book for our class to view within 1 day of our reunion! The committee had plenty of input over several conference calls with Pete to help plan and make our night one to remember. R.D.H.S. Class of '75 had a fantastic 40th Reunion thanks to Paige of Reunion Coordinator!!! This reunion went so smoothly that I felt guilty when classmates would say to me "Thank you for all your hard work"! In the past, for our ten, twenty, etc. year reunions, we had a committee that had to make decisions on venue, catering, DJ, and all that a celebration entails. This time, two of us (and Paige) handled most of the details. All we had to do was get our classmates on board. Paige set up our Reunion Facebook page and kept us entertained and interested! We all enjoyed our reunion and Paige of Reunion Coordinator so much, that we made her an honorary member of Ray District High School Class of '75. Our high school (A.B. Miller) in Fontana, CA had our 10 year reunion approaching fast. We created a committee and we were not getting anywhere. I contacted Reunion Coordinator through a family friend in the early summer of 2011. I explained our situation and what we were looking for with our reunion. The staff was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The RC staff helped set everything up and took all the stress of my shoulders. Our reunion was set up and completed in October. I joined the committee for my 10 year reunion and after a bit of research we decided that Reunion Coordinator was right for us. We weren't wrong! Our contact, Paige, was helpful and had so many connections all over town. The reunion was at a great venue, had a cash bar, buffet dinner, photographers, and a DJ! The committee really wanted to avoid the whole, "reunion at a park" deal, and we did just that, I definitely recommend going with Reunion Coordinator, they help you manage a group getting everyone involved.
