Miss Mow It All was the 5th landscape company we reached out to. They are top notch! They showed up quickly, asked what we wanted, sent renderings of what they could do and it was all done so fast. We have been Epic customers for multiple years and while the service was never perfect - we figured…read moreit was fine enough for the benefit of not having to worry about mowing our yard. Sure, they seemed a little rushed - spending a total of 7 minutes maximum on our front and backyard each time. Sure, they seemed a little lazy - mowing around a stick in the yard instead of simply going the extra mile to move it and do a decent job. But this summer, it became unmanageable. The yard would look patchy and clumpy immediately after they visited. When we called and told them about our concerns, we were told it was because of all the rain. When we said, okay, well the team seems a bit rushed, do you think they could take a second pass if the grass is longer? Maybe spend 10 whole minutes at our house, especially since we were repeat customers? Apparently not, this is the result of that next mow after we asked for some extra attention to detail. They spent 5 minutes total, pushing over the still wet grass, without even making a second pass like we had asked. We tried to get them to work with us and stand behind their service, but it's clear they don't care. When we called to tell them our frustrations, they wouldn't even come out to correct this hack job. There are too many good lawn care services in Lexington to choose one like this that clearly doesn't believe in attention to detail.

This was April 12. He quoted $20,000 to take drain way around back yard for dispersal. I said I just wanted french drain length of front of house with run-off to the side. He then quoted $7500 for this but said he had to get back to me to be sure on cost of materials. Said he would contact me on April 14th to firm up price. No problem. Fast forward to April 21st, What's up Dave still no estimate? Told me he was waiting on pricing from his supplier because of the Trump Tariffs. Funny thing is, the materials used for this project are gravel, dirt, perforated plastic pipe and a shovel which can all be purchased in the US all day, every day at any landscape supply shop. Fast forward until today, June 5th, still no call, text, or email. Please don't allow him to treat you like he has treated me. Luckily I was able to get another company to complete this project perfectly for $2500. And if you don't believe me about his response, here is copy of text on April 21st: "We are waiting on the wholesale to get back to us on the shipping price. Do to Is terrifs."

Diamond Pond/Kentucky Garden and Fountain recently did a fabulous job removing stumps, levelling…read moreout, and planting grass seed on a very steep hill behind our house! When we moved to our house in January, the hill was completely covered with brush, thorny thatches and viny messes. We were able to clear out most of it ourselves, but were left with land filled with holes, uneven land, and weeds. It was dangerous to mow, dirt ran down the hill every time we got a big rain, and we were struggling to grow grass on it. At a very reasonable price, Diamond Pond came out and did a great job levelling out the land, clearing stumps and rocks, and planting grass with protective netting to ensure the seed and dirt don't erode. Because the hill is so steep, it was extremely challenging and exhausting work, especially in this heat, but they did it with high quality and great work ethic! Diamond Pond's customer service was also the best! When additional work or supplies/equipment (ex. dirt, excavator) were needed, they took care of it as it was needed. John & Tim are good, honest and trustworthy businessmen, and we really appreciated their excellent customer service!

This business is very overpriced since they don't even bother price matching for the EXACT same rocks or dirt in Lexington or berea that are half the price!

If I would have done some digging around before telling my fiance about working for this company I…read morewould have never had him apply. Since he started there he was given false naritives of his pay and him being a crew leader and made him a driver with out the driver pay. He pretty much drove the Forman around and did the forming job with out the pay. Also since working there my fiance has been called a Ni$$er and when he asked if the crew workers could stop calling him that and using that word around him they conti used to do so. Even after my fiance spoke to his bosses Robby and Steve about it. Thus is made it a hostile work environment for my fiance who shows up to work and does his job. There has been an instance the same Forman he drove around jumped in my fiance face at a job site trying to provoke him to knocking him out. Which my fiance should not have to worry about being at work and because someone can't get their drug fix wants to cause issues. Also the company allows people who smoke meth, Crack and other drugs to work for them and do these drugs on company time while driving company vehicles and also smoking their drugs in customers properties and or leaving to go and get high while leaving my fiance to do all of the work load alone. When my fiance had a death in the family he was mocked and talked about by the owners and employees when he over heard it and said something that is when everyone wanted to say he's not a good person to work with so they put him with other workers who don't do anything but get high all day long. My fiance checks also have not been accurate since he started and each time was given an excuse until he threated a lawsuit if his pay was not looked at correctly and was told there are days he worked where he was not accounted for when I'm the person who dropped him off at work each time they claimed he was not there. If you end up working late when everyone in the office leaves you get time knocked off your check because before the person who writes your times leave they clock you out while your still on a job site. I would not recommend working for this company at all. They don't care about the work environment for employees, they allow racism with out correction prorely instead will stick you with other people thinking it fixes the issue. The pay for all the work that is intelled is barely anything. They gas you up telling you that your going to move up in the company and never see it put into action and when you bring it up they brush it off or act like they don't recall saying these things to you. Also the owners son has issues with making people feel uncomfortable by constantly staring at you or following you around.
