We have paid full amount for furniture several weeks ago and not only did our sales rep forget to even put the order in until we had called to ask about the status of the order. Everyday I am calling to see the status of where our furniture is because we are currently sleeping on the floor still and they don't even have the decency to follow up with US as their paying customers even to say there is no update. We have to keep chasing them down for absolutely no answers because they don't even have a clue! Go figure :) 0 customer success 0 customer support.

The pieces are of great quality and at magnificent prices. You cannot get solid wood furniture like this anywhere else without having to barter your first born child. AMERICANA FURNITURE!…read more This little furniture store is located on Lawrenceville Highway in Tucker. My husband and I were in the area so we thought that we would stop by. When we pulled into the parking lot, we immediately noticed the word "outlet" on the building. This had escaped me initially as furniture outlets just aren't our thing because they typically don't offer the quality we are interested in seeing. We went into the store anyway to inquire about specific brands and check out their selection. Although the salesmen were nice and helpful, the store just didn't have a quality selection of furniture. They actually showed us one sofa that they described as leather but this was not our idea of leather. It just seemed like a shiny plastic instead of a rich top-grain leather that you could smell and experience before you actually see it. If you have a very small budget and are looking for something to simply fill a space, this store might be an option. However, if you are looking for better brands and furniture that will last a lifetime, you will want to keep looking. *** It was okay, just not what we wanted.

If you are heading to the Rooms To Go Outlet, prepare yourself for a bit of a "good cop, bad cop"…read moreexperience. There are some genuine gems to be found here, but the process of actually getting your furniture home can be a bit of a headache. Here is the full breakdown of what to expect: The Sales Floor & Staff First off, the staff is incredibly friendly. Erik, in particular, was a standout--very personable and helpful while navigating the floor. However, you need to go in with your "no" voice ready. The sales approach here is aggressive. While they are polite, they will try to upsell you like crazy. It felt like they wouldn't take "no" for an answer on certain add-ons or higher-priced items. If you have a budget, stick to it firmly, or you might walk out spending twice what you planned. New vs. Scratch & Dent The inventory is split into two main categories, and the rules for each are very different: New Furniture: If you buy something brand new, they offer standard delivery services. Scratch and Dent: This is where the "Outlet" deals are, but be warned: you are responsible for the pickup. They will not deliver these items, so make sure you have a truck and some muscle ready. The Pickup Process (The "Red Tape" Marathon) This is where the experience loses points. There is a serious lack of unity between the front office and the loading dock. Even though you confirm your pickup inside, the communication doesn't seem to travel to the back. The Licensing Loop: You show your ID and receipt inside to confirm you are there for pickup. You drive around to the back loading dock. You have to show your license and receipt all over again. It feels redundant and slightly disorganized. Once you've checked in at the back, don't expect to stand around the dock. You are required to go back to your car and wait. They will eventually call your name when your item is ready to be loaded. It's a lot of "wait and see," so don't expect a quick in-and-out if you are doing a self-pickup. Final Thoughts The prices can be great, and people like Erik make the initial walk-through pleasant. Just be prepared for a high-pressure sales environment and a repetitive, somewhat slow pickup process. Tip: Bring your patience and double-check your ID is easily accessible--you're going to need it more than once!

Being the owner of a smallish house, I've come to embrace mid-century modern styling, which makes…read moremy little bungalow appear a bit more spacious. However, I'm also a Very Lazy Shopper who just wants to get what she needs and be done with it. I've never been the type to hunt for items so vintage stores have never really been my jam. I'd had my eye on a West Elm sideboard but the buying process turned out to be a disaster. But I digress. Let's talk about City Issue. I gave up on WE and started poking around the online inventory of Atlanta's many vintage shops. I'd tabbed a few items and found myself coming back to a walnut sideboard from City Issue. It was a little out of my comfort zone style-wise but it was exactly what I was looking for utility-wise and price-wise. I used the "Inquire" button on their website to request a hold on it to see it in person. Someone got back to me within just a few minutes! The in-person experience was fantastic. The inventory is gorgeous and it made me all the more upset with myself for defaulting to giant corporate furniture stores. I unfortunately did not get the name of the employee who helped me but gosh, did she help! She had me bring my car around while she got the piece on wheels, helped us load it into the car, and even helped out with the most effective way to tie it down and keep the trunk from damaging it. This piece was over a foot longer than the WE sideboard, which was less expensive but adding in shipping, totaled only $3 cheaper than what I ended up with. I was exceedingly pleased with the entire experience and would absolutely come back.
