I honestly assumed one day I'd check out move!, another day Gold's Gym or Riverside Fitness, and basically spread the variety. Instead I was warmly greeted by Kurt, took his Les Mills step class, sweat my butt off, and returned promptly the next day for Pound with Kara, and then again the next day with Kurt with BodyVive/CX combo. We are all well aware the options in Long Valley are few and far between. Basically, this little gym could offer anything and I'd probably still have stopped by and taken the "first class free" promo. But the intensity, enthusiasm, and overall warmth of the instructors and fellow classmates is what had me hooked. Maybe I'm a little nostalgic here, but everyone was super nice and it made me really miss the coziness of my hometown. See you all again next Christmas :-)

It's honestly a very well maintained Gym. I haven't had any issues since coming here. And the classes don't get canceled nor do they have to adjust their hours at all. I do think that if they had better hours, you could see a lot more people because ever since Covid things close earlier and this could definitely attract more people if it had better hours. I also agree with some other reviews that they need to turn the AC up. When you first walk in the AC is pretty strong but then once you walk near the check-in desk, the gym floor and. Workout room and the exercise group room it's very very hot. I would definitely recommend that they not to invest in fans but a stronger AC unit. Black Bear fitness Kickboxing bootcamp can definitely be a butt kicking class…read more This location is still closed indoors because of COVID, but that hasn't stopped then in the current outdoors eating phase of the pandemic to offer outdoor work outs, properly socially distancing. Talk about the extra sweat you put out when there is no AC to help cool you down during activity. This 4th of July weekend I happened to be with my brother and his wife/my sister-in-law was taking advantage of their outdoor morning Kickboxing bootcamp. She knows I love a good workout and don't shy away, even when on vacation to get one in. They had the extra space so for a small cost I was able to lock in the spot and attend as a visiting guest of hers. The young lady that instructed the class [daughter of owners] was super energetic and engaged throughout the entire workout showing and motivating all to put out what they could and more. If I lived close to this location, I would totally be making it my home gym. I could only image how great all on the inside is, but if the workouts are as good/better than the one I had outdoors, I'd be hooked for sure.
