Then, I was referred to this doctor from an acquaintance of a friend of mine. So glad I was directed to Dr. Gregg! He is very knowledgeable, skilled and experienced. He mentioned that he has already performed over 5,000 eye procedures, which is very impressive! He is able to diagnose with confidence, has a competent staff who assist him, and I always felt that I was in kind-hearted hands. Kayla is very professional, knowledgeable, and was able to answer all my questions before and after the surgeries. My two procedures were scheduled a month apart, with follow ups to monitor the healing process. The recovery went smoothly, with minimal inconvenience or discomfort. The difference in my vision is amazing, and I'm truly grateful to be able to see this clearly again. If you need cataract surgery, I would highly recommend Dr. Patrick Gregg! He is a true Rock Star!

I accompanied my 85-year-old mother to her 4:00 p.m. appointment with Dr. Gregg -- she's been a…read morepatient at this clinic for several years, but this was my first time going in with her. She had previously mentioned that the office didn't feel very warm or welcoming, and unfortunately, my experience today confirmed that concern. While the appointment itself was adequate, we were quite surprised and disappointed by what happened at the end. After her 4:00 appointment -- which your office scheduled -- we asked to look at new glasses, as she had just received a new prescription. The receptionist informed us that we would need to make a separate appointment because she was leaving in three minutes. It was 4:57 p.m. I work in retail myself, and I cannot imagine telling a customer I couldn't help them because I was about to get off shift -- especially when they had an appointment at 4:00 and were simply trying to make a purchase. What was most concerning was that the receptionist said she couldn't assist us because her boss doesn't want to pay overtime. That's not just inconvenient -- it sends a clear message that your office prioritizes payroll policies over patient care. My elderly mother now has to come back a second time for something that should have been a natural next step in today's visit. It's not only an inconvenience; it also feels dismissive of her time and her needs. I hope you'll take this feedback seriously. At the very least, it seems reasonable to expect a bit more flexibility, compassion, and accommodation -- especially when dealing with elderly patients who already made the effort to come in for an appointment

He said cataract surgery would likely not solve my problem but never explained what my problem was that couldn't be corrected by the cataract surgery. I was surprised by this decision so probably not able to ask the right questions but he was in a hurry and rather abrupt. Then he wrote in the notes that he had a long conversation with me and I decided against cataract surgery. The woman who saw me before him was very helpful but he was not. It is very poor care to not see an ophthalmologist before cataract surgery and let an optometrist make the decision about whether you would benefit. Then if you did have cataract surgery the surgeon would not have looked at your eyes him/her self. I am getting a referral to an ophthalmologist.

I never got to having surgery with PCLI and I'm glad. I grew suspicious when the prices they gave…read moreme were going up every time I talked to them and their promises of what my eyesight was going to be like was a lie. They're great at handing out false hope. I was quoted $2,500 per eye and that went to $2700. per eye and then there was the co-pays and the facility use fee by the time it was done I was looking at around $8,000 for something they couldn't do. I consulted a local doctor who had done my late husband's cataract surgery and he explained that there was a certain amount of correction that comes from having cataract removal but those lenses don't work the way they promised for someone like me. When I canceled they suddenly became very rude said they would cancel with Dr Huggett and hung up, I have had no contact with Dr Huggett or his office staff since the appointments were canceled. He will not talk to me and his staff hangs up on me. The reason I am throwing Dr Huggett into the fire is because he told me that I had cataracts as dense as a glass of milk and that I needed to get cataract surgery right away because the longer I waited the more likely I was to lose sight completely apart from maybe shadows. Dr Huggett knew I was a Medicare patient and still referred me to PCLI at which time PCLI would have known I was a Medicare patient. But I was told they were the best, that I would have 20/20 vision and I wanted that. I'm close to 70 and I wanted to see like I used to. Where they thought I was going to get around $8,000 to pay for what they were offering I don't know. A payment plan would have left me in debt with interest. I would not recommend PCLI to anyone nor would I recommend Dr Huggett to anyone. Since I canceled with PCLI Dr Huggett has refused to talk to me or to see me in any capacity and I have learned that he is a close associate with PCLI. My personal opinion is they are out to take the last penny anyone's got for false hope. Take from that what you will.
