UPDATE 10/10/2024 - Reducing from 5 to 3 stars because:
1) Was misled about how many visits had been approved during scheduling after 1st visit. Doctor had advised x visits, apparently hadn't been approved by insurance yet. I was *strongly* encouraged to make a ton of appointments right away which quickly took me past the number eventually approved so I'll be paying quite a bit out of pocket :-(
2) Last few visits were short staffed and chaotic. Was left alone a good bit of time (usually guided through exercises entire time) and think I was confused with another patient based on one of the exercises they told me to do. And I'll be paying for those visits out of pocket when they weren't as good a use of my time and healthcare $ as they could have been.
Takeaway- I did learn many useful things that have helped me heal, and staff were nice and well meaning, but wouldn't recommend this place as strongly now

My back went out a few months ago and I was approved for physical therapy. I wasn't sure what to expect - was it going to be all recovering athletes? Would I (out of shape keyboard warrior) feel bad about myself? I was in pain so I forged ahead.
I felt welcome immediately at RET in Kirkland. The staff are kind, empathetic, and patient. Clients run the gamut from weekend warriors, older folks, and regular office types like myself.
They've been super accommodating to my migraines that make me incredibly sensitive to light and noise. When they see me come in with my dark glasses they put me in a treatment room with blinds rather than the brightly lit main floor area.
I've worked with a number of different staff and they've universally been great. After rotating through a few due to scheduling I'm now now consistently working with Micheal, which gives me more of a feeling of continuity. Michael, Sebastian, Michelle, Cooper and Riley, and all the staff have been great to work with.
I'm feeling a lot better with more improvement yet to be made. When I "graduate" from treatment for this set of injuries I would 100% return next time I have a need for PT, but here's hoping I never will. read more
