I'm very picky about doctors and any sort of health-oriented practitioner. I was referred to Steve…read moreKravitz through a co-worker who also coincidentally was also a patient of my acupuncturist. I'd been seeing my acupuncturist for over 10 years and trust him implicitly (he's a very cool guy). He confirmed that he knew Steve Kravitz and thought he was very good. A few months later I threw my back out trying to move my television in a fit of furniture re-arranging and went to Steve. He literally made the pain disappear. I then began to see him for other things like the chronic muscle spasms I get in my neck/shoulder/back due to computer mouse use. I've had this condition also for about 17 years and seeing Steve drastically reduced and practically eliminated the situation. For a little while I was bouncing back and forth between Steve and my acupuncturist because the two seemed to complement each other. My acupuncturist noticed this and now he has been regularly sending his patients to Steve as well! I highly recommend Steve. He's extremely knowledgeable and has a wide repertoire that ranges from physical therapy to massage to craniosacral therapy and uses different techniques based on the condition. Additionally, Steve is also one of the most genuinely nice guys you'll ever meet. I've been a patient of his for six or seven years now and I've been recommending him to friends. I'll continue to see him as long as he practices!

I can't agree more with the other reviews. I wish more physicians would recommend and prescribe the…read moretypes of physical therapy Dr. Kravitz does for quicker recovery times from almost anything! Overall, I think the general public is uninformed about craniosacral therapy and myofascial release and other types of work with fascia available. As a firm believer in scientific processes, and evidence based results, I came to treatment a bit doubtful of what he could do for me. After trying to find ways to stay fit and competitive in sports over the years. Steve has become a vital part of my fitness and overall wellness program. I find that it's crucial to have him be able to augment traditional medical procedures such as: rotator cuff surgery, with lymphatic drainage therapy (reduced swelling dramatically,) to treat pulled or sprained muscles (much faster recovery time), and trauma (bruises gone, mobility returned). When Plantar Fasciitis started in my foot, the orthopedist recommended drugs and surgery. After three sessions with Steve (no drugs required) I haven't felt a twinge. He also can provide more subtle analysis of minor conditions, like-- when I can't pinpoint something specific, but I know things "just aren't right." His fierce knowledge of anatomy is quite remarkable. But more amazing is how relaxing the sessions are. I often come out of treatment thinking -- how can this possibly do anything? He barely moves! Over the next day or two your body adjusts, and things happen. Steve is extremely thoughtful and sensitive, he treated my son (6 yrs. old) for a condition that turned out to be caused by something quite unexpected, and his genuine concern for getting to the root of the problem was crucial. While everyone's body reacts differently, there is no mysticism here. Just the best application of appropriate treatments.

The genuine care that's demonstrated and displayed with every visit is simply priceless. I came to Action Spine & Joint after a car wreck and being disgusted with the care that I had received from Physical Therapy. I some how knew that a Chiropractor is what was needed! I had no idea the place I had chosen was going to deliver such AMAZING treatment! In severe pain from a bulging disk and whiplash. Now I can sit, walk bend and turn my neck! I'm truly grateful for the service and the motivation to get me back to where I needed to be by this team of wonderful people that are great at what they do!

After going through two car accidents, I struggled with constant pain, stiffness, and limited mobility. From my very first appointment, Dr. Bearden took the time to really listen, explain what was going on, and put together a treatment plan that actually worked for me when other chiropractors overlooked my nerve pain/neck problems. Over the years, Dr. Bearden's care has not only helped me heal physically, but also given me peace of mind knowing I have someone I can trust with my health. What stands out most is his consistency--every visit is thorough, professional, and focused on long-term wellness rather than quick fixes. Thanks to his guidance and team, I've been able to stay active and get back to living my life without the pain that used to hold me back. If you're looking for a chiropractor who is knowledgeable and truly invested in their patients' recovery, I can't recommend Action Spine and Joint enough.

I don't want to be bothered with this, I rather go back to my lunch, go to your main doctor for the problem." When I requested for the paperwork he writes whiplash because he didn't feel like doing the paperwork that required him to do his job. He did not give me a full evaluation or time knowing that I spent over three to four hundred dollars to go see him. The most laziest doctor I have ever met, after coming back home I lost the ability to use my hands and it was the most scariest thing. Don't waste the time, look for someone else.

Suffice it to say that my experience there was less than optimal. The doctor I saw was competent and super nice but didn't help me much. I decided to get a second opinion at Vandy and was blown away at how efficient, competent, friendly, and effective everything about their office was. I was in and out in less time than I was in the first waiting room at TOA, with a diagnosis (rotator cuff tendinitis) and plan of attack in the form of physical therapy. If you have any sort of sports related injury, please go here first. Dr. Fitch is my doc there and he is fantastic.

Going the extra mile makes all the difference, especially when you're not feeling good. Thank you, Julia! I love that it's a big open room with many therapy options all around you, and it's hoppin! Every time I go, all the therapists and their assistants (in school) are wonderful and busy! I love Josh, so thankful to him and his staff for the amazing care I have received. I highly recommend them all! My best friend told me about this place and has received care from multiple therapists and their specialties which has really helped her in her healing journey too! I'm also just really thankful that everyone is so friendly, and become like family. I appreciated Jared always asking what's for dinner, and talking with Josh about our doggo's that look so so similar! No one explains things with wordy info that you don't understand, or makes you feel "less than, or uneducated" - just a good team of compassionate lovely people, HELPING PEOPLE. --------- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
