As a lifelong Valrico local, I've been part of many community spots, but Arise Church in Brandon…read morehas become a cornerstone of my spiritual journey. This vibrant Pentecostal church, known for its belief in faith healing, has a reputation for powerful services where people experience healing most weeks. The welcoming atmosphere, heartfelt worship, and life-changing moments have made it a place where I truly found God. For its transformative impact, uplifting services, and genuine community, Arise Church earns five stars. Walking into Arise is like stepping into a warm embrace. The modern sanctuary buzzes with energy, filled with people from all walks of life--families, singles, young, and old--united in worship. The Pentecostal roots shine through in the dynamic services, with passionate music that lifts your spirit and sermons that hit home with practical, Bible-based messages. The pastors deliver teachings that feel personal, urging you to connect with God in a real way. The faith healing aspect is central, with prayer sessions most weeks where congregants report physical and emotional healings--back pain eased, chronic illnesses lifted, and hearts mended. I've witnessed these moments myself, feeling the undeniable presence of something bigger, and it's humbling to see faith in action. For me, Arise is where I found God in a way I never expected. I came in skeptical, carrying years of questions and doubts, but the genuine love from the congregation and the powerful worship opened my heart. During one service, amidst the music and prayers, I felt a peace I'd never known--a moment that reshaped my life and gave me a sense of purpose. The church's focus on experiencing God isn't just talk; it's tangible in the way people pray for each other, share stories of transformation, and build community. They offer groups for everyone--youth, singles, seniors--and events like Bible studies and outreach that make you feel part of something bigger. The services, held multiple times on Sundays, are accessible and engaging, with kids' and youth programs that keep the younger crowd excited about faith. The church is family-oriented, and the staff are approachable, always ready to pray with you or offer a kind word. It's not perfect--parking can get tight during peak services, but they manage it well, and the large crowds speak to the church's impact. The focus on faith healing might not resonate with everyone, but it's done with sincerity, never pressure, and always invites personal reflection. Arise Church has become my spiritual home. The healing services, vibrant worship, and sense of belonging have deepened my faith and given me a community that feels like family. For anyone seeking a place to connect with God and find support, Arise is a beacon. It's earned five stars for changing my life and offering a space where faith feels alive and real. I'll keep coming back, grateful for the journey it's sparked.

Yesterday was my 4th time visiting this church. I really enjoyed going there until yesterday. I…read morearrived in the room 30 minutes before the service and the room was pretty empty and shortly after sitting down, a man asked me to move so he could save the whole row for his friends. I thought that was really rude, especially when there were many seats available. That man then was standing directly behind me, started having a conversation with another man, and as the other man was talking, his arm kept hitting the back of my hair several times and I was worried he might actually accidently hit the back of my head, so I leaned forward, I then decided to move to the other side of the room. Right before the service started, a woman ran in barefoot and sat right next to me and when the pastor's wife began the prayer, the woman next to me saw someone she knew and stood by the stage and started a very loud conversation, it was so distracting, I could no longer focus on the prayer. Then when the music portion started, one of the staff who was filming for the church came and stood directly in front of me, he was so close if he took just an inch backwards he would be on top of me. He was definitely in my personal space and I couldn't see anything. He saw me but didn't care obviously. At this point, I honestly did not fee welcome at this church and people just did whatever they wanted regardless of how it affects anyone else. I walked out of the room to speak with someone and hopefully find another seat. A man approached me and asked how he could help, I told him what happened, he had this blank uncaring look on his face and all he said was " I am sorry you experienced that", I talked a little more, he just looked at me with that same weird, uncaring look, it became obvious he was not willing to help any further, so I walked back in the room and he said nothing. That really did not sit well with me, so I left the room again, and finally found a woman at the main counter, another woman who works there joined the conversation. They were very nice and listened and even prayed for me. They also said the man I spoke to was a pastor at the church which FLOORED me. They made excuses for him saying he is german and that is how they are but after the rigid exterior he is actually a nice person. The indifference he showed me was so disturbing and hurtful and not what Jesus would do. I did see that pastor after I came back out of the room, he was in the lobby talking to 2 people, laughing and having a great time. This whole experience has left such a bad taste in mouth and I am seriously struggling finding a reason to go back.
