Somewhere between the rant about athletics and the whispered denunciation of oats, I lost track of time. He may have mentioned being a neurologist. He may have gestured toward a red light therapy wand. I don't remember blinking. I do remember thinking: "If I tell him the oatmeal cookie in my purse, I will not make it out of here alive." At one point, he asked if I was lactating. He asked with gravity, like it was the key to something I would never understand. I said no. He looked disappointed, but not surprised. He told me to bury a cabbage. Wait several months. Add breastmilk if available. And then--eat it. I asked if I should clean the jar before fermenting it underground. He didn't answer. I understood. I now fear: * Corn * Lecithin * My own fridge * Nightshades * Red light devices * The smell of buried vegetables I now believe: * Healing begins with suffering * Oats are emotionally weak * Breastmilk is the cure for pink eye, heartburn, and possibly modern despair * Press your own oil or perish * I may never be the same There was no blood pressure taken. No eye exam. No touching of any kind--just direct eye contact, rapid speech, and nutritional exorcism. I came in with a body. I left with a mission. I cannot recommend this experience enough. He uses supplements for the specific part of the body that you are concerned with and they always work. He has been all over the world learning different types of medicine I am always amazed that any one person can know so much. His office visits cost very little and the office is very casual. He does walk-ins as well. I have been to him many times and have never been disappointed. For example I threw out my lower back out lifting a heavy trailer up, I put off treatment for several months and went to two different chiropractors trying to save a little money before visiting Dr. Wade. The prior two never came close to getting my back into place. One visit to Dr. Wade and my wallet was slighty lighter compared to the prior two, but my back pain was gone. Money well spent. Whoever left a one star rating is entitled to their opinion, but based on my extensive experience visiting them both, I'd have to strongly disagree, simply couldn't be more wrong. Out of the 20 plus chiropractors I've been to nationwide over the last 20 years id have to say they're easily top of the list (technically my favorite was a chiropractor back in TN, but we're talking 1a vs 1b scenario) based on my experience. I literally have multiple experiences of self inflicted back pain due to stupidity on my part and working construction I listed one example. If your back hurts go!!! You won't regret it.
