This review is somewhat overdue, but most definitely deserving. My sister and I hired Jeremy and…read morehis crew last summer to do smoke remediation on our mother's house after she passed away. She was a long-time smoker, and the cigarette smoke had permeated every surface in the home. The project took several months to complete, and included everything from cleaning of walls/floors/surfaces/duct work to sealing and repainting the entire interior (walls, ceilings, doors, trim, etc.). From start to finish, Jeremy was an absolute professional, as was his office manager, Rebecca. Jeremy came to do a bid the same day (or day after) we contacted him, and his price was quite reasonable in comparison to other vendors in the area (and especially so, looking back on how much work had to be done). He was up front about the challenges of such a project and cautioned that the smell may not be eliminated 100%. Jeremy and his crew were able to begin work right away. The project was, indeed, a challenge, but Jeremy and his team persisted. They ran and re-ran their equipment countless times over the course of several months (and probably way more than they anticipated), and Jeremy even agreed to come back and do additional treatments upon conclusion of the project if requested by the new homeowners who purchased our mom's home. Because my sister and I both lived out of state, Jeremy and my sister had weekly phone calls to talk about the progress on the house and any adjustments to the timeline for completion. He even accommodated 3-way calls so my sister and I could ask him questions together, and he was timely in getting back to us with answers. Jeremy is also incredibly detail oriented and has a "good nose." As the project was nearing conclusion, my sister visited the home for a progress check and to sign off on the work that had been done. Jeremy agreed to meet her for a walk through, even though it was a holiday weekend. When she arrived at the house, she was disappointed to find the cigarette smell still lingered in the air, and she observed several small details that needed addressing. When Jeremy arrived, they walked through the house together, and he picked up on the smell and every single detail my sister had noted, without her saying a thing. The project took a few more weeks after that meeting to wrap up, but when Jeremy told us he was finally satisfied, we knew it had to be good. And it was! The one downside of our experience is that there were several delays due to the sub-contractors. After expressing our concerns to Jeremy, he personally oversaw all the work to make sure it was completed without further delays. My sister and I are very grateful for Jeremy's thoroughness and for treating our mom's home with love. It was a very difficult time for my sister and me, and Jeremy made this aspect of our mom's passing more manageable. Thank you, Jeremy and team!

Scratched grandparents' buffet, broke door. 12. Broke entertainment center. Told me, a 72 year old disabled Navy veteran, to do the work myself: ceiling, carpets, paint, unpacking. Update: 1. Repaired ceiling they said could not be done without significant influx of cash, well above insurance funds. 2. Painted room for fraction of their estimate. 3. Shampooed carpets by myself. So, 72 year old woman accomplished more in one week than AeroDry crew of young men. *****

This is a review of Service Master Restore by Arrow Dry On…read moreSeptember 17, 2018 I filed a claim with my insurance for water damage from a burst pipe in the wall between my half bath and kitchen. Service Master got the bid to dry out the house and repair the damage to the walls, floor, and ceiling not to mention the some kitchen cabinets. My house is 100 years old with original hardwood floors and plaster walls. The wide baseboard and door trim are 100 year old oak and give the house its character. They dried out the house fine. The demo involved removing the plaster wall that the bathroom and kitchen shared, a 3 foot square of kitchen ceiling under the upstairs bathroom where the pipe had burst, pulling the base kitchen cabinets and pantry cabinet, the kitchen sink and counter top, the bathroom toilet and sink, and taking off the baseboard and door trim and taking up part of the tile floor in the kitchen and all of the bathroom floor. When it came to the demo they did not protect my hardwood floors in foyer from plaster dust caused from plaster removal. During the plaster removal they also did not cover any of cabinets drawers that they had stack up on top of one another with their contents still in them, nor did they cover the movable bar or pantry items they had taken out of the pantry which they had to remove due to the wall being wet. Service Master Restore took six and a half weeks to dry out the house and do the demo. They did not repair any of the wet cabinets and upon request they did put the sink and counter top back temporary so I could have water and be able to cook. On Oct 31st they notified me that they were quitting and would not be repairing my water damage and that they were returning my pull out cabinets and had not repaired them. They informed me that I would have to find someone else to repair the cabinets and repair all the water damage to my kitchen and half bath. Service Master Restore broke their contract with me and I am not recommending them to anyone. For the six and half weeks they were here all they did was to dry out the house and do demo. There were weeks when they only showed up for one day in that week. Furthermore I am telling anyone who is considering them to choose someone else.
