Thankfully, the sole casualty was a front license plate, bent into a U-shape (photo). Once out of the wash, a young man kicked aside a parking cone and marshelled me into a space for the interior portion. I was one of two vehicles in those spaces. Two other vehicles were being worked on in the detailing bays on the opposite side of the lane, and one owner was doing self-service. It was 10AM on a Wednesday morning. No one attended to my Tundra for 15 minutes; then, I noticed another young had opened the rear passenger door. A half-hour after emerging from the wash, the truck was ready. No one mentioned the bent plate, which I first noticed minutes ago, in my driveway. Generally, just a poor use of 40 minutes' worth of my life, and now I have to remove and straighten my plate.
