Thank Jon for small miracles!…read more Before I started seeing Jon I had no body awareness. I worked out a lot and did a lot of yoga but when it came to "listening to my body" I couldn't hear s! Jon changed the dial and then some! I started seeing him for general tension and chronic neck/shoulder pain (not kidding, my shoulders practically touched my ears (at least they felt like they did)). I would see him and it felt like my shoulders dropped two inches and my back straightened and chest opened like a ballet dancer! It was amazing! It is now years later and I can't say enough about him to whomever will listen. Whenever I want to treat someone, I send them to Jon "on me". And I know I've given the best gift possible because his skills are extensive and he uses various techniques depending on the person's needs. Also he is incredibly knowledgeable about the body in general- it's movement and positioning- and knows a ton about alternative practices. I've found the changes that Jon brings about are far more than "physical". I had always thought massage was a luxury I couldn't afford. But since I started seeing Jon I've discovered it's a necessary part of my wellbeing, and I make sure I budget accordingly.

As a result of a martial arts injury my knee was not healing well and the discomfort was lingering for quite a while, which prevented me from enjoying running and participating in triathlons. The pain was bad enough that I had difficulty going up and down stairs and standing up out of my chair. I even had an MRI done and the result identified some bone spurs that had developed in my knee. I did not want to try surgery so I consulted Collin to determine what could be done. Collin was very thorough in wanting to understand the circumstances of my injury. His evaluation and suggested approach to the problem seemed clear and I was anxious to see results. He attacked the situation with acupuncture, herbs, and heat. Within a few weeks I began to feel an improvement in mobility with less pain using the stairs. Another couple weeks after that I was able to go for very short and easy jogs. Now, about 3 months later I am running 3+ miles at a time multiple times a week, and riding my bike with no side effects in my knee. After dealing with the pain and discomfort for more than 6 months before seeing Collin, I am very pleased and ecstatic that I am now able to pursue my active lifestyle again.

I had heard about reiki and chakra alignment/balancing through a friend who highly recommended it…read more It made me curious but I didn't quite understand it so I never really found an excuse to try it. Fast forward a year and my life was really out of control, I got a promotion, which was good, but also meant that I had a lot of increased responsibilities at work and it was tough balancing my work and home life. I felt lost.. I especially felt like I lost my voice - there were times I felt so frustrated, but when someone asked me what's wrong I couldn't even put it into words! The words were in my mind but I couldn't get them out - they felt stuck. It might've come from years in a traditional Asian household where I was always talked down to and talked over and perhaps the issues fester when I'm under extreme stress - anyway.. So I went on Yelp searching for some answers and thought - ooh! Free first session! Let's try it out! I have to say this was the best thing I ever did for myself. Ben definitely has some healing gifts as I felt the work he did every session (remotely, mind you). Since I can't explain what happened, let me give you an example: First session - I didn't think anything of it, Ben gave me some tips on how to prepare. I did what I was told and laid down - it was an afternoon session (1pm). I was not tired - but immediately fell into a dream-like "nap". The session itself was... odd. Since I write everything down I decided to write the sessions I was feeling directly after the session. I didn't tell Ben, just thanked him and asked for his feedback. He gives great feedback and explanations by the way - never condescending and always with positivity. He doesn't try to over explain or become defensive in anyway, which I appreciate. I trusted Ben and eventually shared my notes after every session. Anyway, Benjamin wrote: "...While we worked to balance all of the seven major centers, I noticed that the sacral (1-2 inches below the belly button) and the throat were two areas that required the most balancing. The sacral is a center of creativity, potency, freedom, personal empowerment and physical intimacy; and the throat is a center of truth, self-expression / radiance of the self and clear communication..." I immediately comparing my notes- I wrote: "Stomach - felt weird/pulsing/a vibration? Throat - a little like a struggle for air or resistance maybe... something was happening. I woke up feeling very dehydrated even though I drank a bottle of water beforehand." Crazy right?? I can't explain it either, but all I know is I feel happy, calm and balanced after my sessions. I feel more present and my mind fog is lifted... and, I found my voice. Thank you, Benjamin.

Physically I felt as though I'd taken a 5-hour nap, rested and rejuvenated more than the best massage I'd ever gotten. Ben worked to balance my chakras that were in need of attention, and gave me astute advice on how I can heal them through habits in my daily life. I've already recommended Ben to all of my friends in New York area and will continue to work with him. He's a truly amazing healer and I'm lucky to have discovered him.

While the previous appointment was settling his business, I waited briefly, as Tommy Vance is pleasant, but definitely professional. Tommy proceeded to clean the room and change the linen before I was allowed to enter. We had a little conversation about my concerns, and reasons for a massage. To get to the point, it's been quite some time since I have had an actual real-deal massage. Tommy is THE REAL DEAL!
