I showed up to the appointment, they didn't, called them and was told one of their guys was on their way but he ended up not showing. Wasted 2 hours due to their mishandling. Never called them again after. ------- a company representative reached out after I wrote the above review. I decided to give them another chance. This time, a roofer showed up on time for our appointment and performed the needed work quickly. So updating my review.

These guys fixed our problem right the first time, their prices were very fair, and best of all ... we couldn't find anyone else who would guarantee their roof repairs. After a big hail storm, I had a bad experience with two of the top-ranked roofing construction…read morecompanies. They were not responsive or helpful and created a bad customer experience. I was about to go with a 3rd company who gave me a very high quote until I reached out to Marc at MD Construction. That is when my experience immediately went from bad to great. Marc was so helpful and supportive. I no longer had to deal with my insurance company and the inspector. He took over and spent hours on the phone negotiating on my behalf. He not only fixed my roof where I had hail damage, but he also fixed some poor workmanship done by my builder which the three other companies didn't even point out during their inspection. I decided to have him manage all of the contractors to fix my gutters, windows, etc. because I was having trouble with the guys I hired to fix my stucco. He removed all of my family's stress and has earned a lifelong customer.

After many weeks of nothing we hear on Tuesday Nov. 10, when I called them, that they would have a team out to our house on Friday Nov 13th which was 1 month exactly after we sent them notification their bid was accepted. They sent 1 person Friday afternoon that had no knowledge of the project and told us he was only there to paint. Nobody arrived to do the rest of the work, then later that afternoon I got a call and was told a team would be out Monday for the rest of our project. After 13 hours of the painter on prem between Friday and Saturday only half of the first coat of paint was done. When I complained to Chance Gaylord, the owner, he told me they will cancel the project, refund my deposit and good luck! With the holidays just around the corner our home is in chaos and have had to tell our daughter she cannot come home from school. We have to start this process all over again, MD Construction has been an absolute nightmare. HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION, NO PROJECT PLANNING, & Very RUDE OWNER! I DO NOT recommend this contractor to ANYONE! The Pictures here show the exact condition they left our home in when they cancelled the project.

Excellent Roofing Experience…read more Szotts Roofing was fantastic to work with. Curt was awesome and came out to help diagnose a roof leak that had been an ongoing issue for years. After several follow-ups and attempts from my previous roofer, Curt was actually able to diagnose the problem and provide a solution virtually through text before he even arrived at my house. He was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and extremely helpful throughout the process. It's clear that Curt genuinely cares about solving the problem rather than just selling a job. I'll definitely be using Szotts Roofing and Curt for all of my roofing needs in the future. Highly recommend!

I have never in all my life been so disappointed in a company. Thanks to this roofer I now have to…read morehave a new roof installed and water damage repairs to my house after only having this brand new roof they installed 6 months earlier. They blamed everyone else instead of taking responsibility for the damages to my house. They blamed the gutters and they even tried to say the water damage was from the previous roof that was placed 5 years ago. I asked why they didn't fix it or at least tell me about the "water damage at the time they replaced the roof" and their response to me was "your insurance wouldn't have covered it." (That's because there was no damage when they replaced the roof) It would have been nice to know about it if it was in fact "already there". FYI my home inspector said the roof was structurally sound before the roof was replaced in February. Terrible customer service is all I can say and an expensive mistake on my part. I will not be using this roofing company ever again and anyone else thinking about using them should think twice!

As…read morea result, we began our search to find a reputable local company that can assist us with a roof replacement. As a self-confessed perfectionist, I mowed through Yelp, Angie's list, the BBB, and a number of other websites to find the right fit for our needs which provided a healthy balance of value, dependability, and reputation. After interviewing TWENTY THREE contractors (and driving my wife / our neighbors crazy in the process), we made the decision to move forward w/Daniel Nicholas Roofing. They are based out of the Metroplex, so we knew they could be a company we could count on should downstream issues pop up; and, their A+ rating on the BBB coupled with 5-star ratings on Yelp and Angie's list went into our decision-making process. More than anything, however, this company's personal touch is what sold us over. Christina and Curtis made multiple trips to visit with us to discuss our options at length and also made several touch-points through the process to ensure that the installation was done to our satisfaction including stopping by the property at regular intervals during the installation. The installation was done promptly, professionally, and efficiently from the tear-down to the clean-up. Needless to say, we were very pleased and will endorse these guys any day for a job done the right way with a more traditional, high-touch approach.
