Ours had 2 bunk beds in one room, 1 queen bed in another room and a pull out couch. Very spacious with 3 parking spots right in front! It was so clean and stocked with all the essentials. The staff here are also amazing! We knew we would be driving in after hours and they made sure we could access our cabin and check in the next morning! We even rented 2 kayaks and they made that process was too! We had easy access to the docks and were able to get some fishing done! The kids loved the park and we even hiked on the nearby trails! This place is kept so nice and felt private! We had such a great experience we would do this again and recommend staying here!

Neither were very inspiring. I definitely spent more time picking up trash than enjoying the park. They have a pool, but it's not in service and the visitor center was also closed. It would have been nice to know these things before paying for a complete waste of time. My favorite part was the spigot in the picture. Instead of using a frost-proof setup, they littered the landscape with fiberglass and duct tape. Unreal...

Oh boy. We stayed here on a Friday night in our RV. First, the good - the lady we spoke to on the…read morephone was very nice and said someone would be around in the morning to collect payment ($40 for electric & water) and we could pay cash, check, MO, or credit card, The sites are really packed tight, but there was just one other site being used and the one we were in was very nice & level. It's close to the Sheriff's shooting range, but those shots stopped at dusk and we even heard an owl. Now the bad - from what we saw of the lake, it's pretty nasty. Grass is nonexistent- tough dried stubs that were hard to walk on. About 3am we heard voices, gun shots, and revving engines - a bit unnerving. A guy showed up around 8:30am to collect payment and he demanded cash. Luckily we have a car we tow, because he made us follow him into town to an ATM.... Which the clerk said hadn't worked in a couple of months. After calling the office, we were told they would call us Monday and we could pay over the phone- something we could've done when we first spoke. Just a pain.

We came with a group of three families who all arrived separately in three RVs...and three separate versions of the same story: rude, flat, and unaccommodating. We also had a prepaid 2-night reservation made for a friend that we needed to cancel. But despite our multiple efforts to call ahead and cancel (NO ANSWER...three different people, various times a day, multiple attempts), she would only refund one night with no explanation as to why we couldn't get refunded for both nights when it was not our fault for not being able to reach their office before actually arriving. Just sad that a beautiful place like this has such a grumpy gatekeeper. Would be quite a different experience with someone who liked their job and working with people.
