William and Emily ( my families instructors) were beyond patient with my kids and I as they helped us master all the skills required for certification. They gave us as many opportunities as we needed to feel confident at performing each skill! I always knew I was safe, and that they would help me improve in the areas I struggled with. We did a certification weekend at Vortex Spring Florida, which was truly fantastic! I felt like I was being welcomed into a community of people with a common passion and a desire to see new people join them. There were families, 20-30 year olds, and seasoned divers and everyone just became instant friends. If you're thinking about getting certified this is definitely the right shop to use!
