Her removals were so painful my eye lids were sore for a few days after each appointment. She constantly stabs the lid with her forceps or pulls out natural lashes causing the eye to water excessively then proceeds to make negative comments about how watery the eye was. The lack of isolation was also concerning with the amount of burning I received from the bond. Again, causing my eyes to water. I was finally able to get back in with my regular eye lash technician and she was appalled to say the least. She took some photographs where my eyelashes had been cut. Most of the extensions weren't even on a natural lash. They were bonded on top of each other causing inflammation of the follicle. The HEALTH of my lashes declined significantly with only 3 lash visits with Moonie. Many of you probably don't know she cuts your lashes as you can't see your own lash line SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL. Now to the brows; She singed them right off. I have very fine, thin brows and she burned them right off. I had no brows for a few weeks. She was nice enough to give me a 100$ credit for the brows, but seemed to be very defensive when I approached her about the lashes. EVEN with pictures! She and my regular lash technician are the only two that touched my lashes in that 6 week period, but she didn't want to admit or apologize for cutting my natural lashes. My brows have started to fill in again, hair grows back. But if I would have continued to use her for my lashes I'm afraid of what it would have resulted in further down the road. One last thing to note; there is no pricing. You never know what you will pay for a fill. She charges you based on what she feels necessary. Be careful ladies.

Fast forward 2 weeks to when I had a hard day and needed a therapeutic cry (we've all been there). Well, the lashes still looked great, but the adhesive mixed with tears made my eyes burn. Waited until I could remove them all safely. Fast forward to now...I wanted to give it another shot, so I messaged them. Was told they had an opening today and given a time. I do take responsibility for not making sure my confirmation went through. So when I messaged today, she said she was now busy, but her colleague was free. Drove all the way down from North Scottsdale and was pulling into the parking lot, just to get a call from said colleague telling me that she actually couldn't see me and that no joke a few min after being told that she may have a client (original person was busy with a client, so understandably she didn't update with a full yes client is on the way), she had called her ride and had to leave I'm sorry, what?! Just bad business all around. 3rd time could have been a charm, but instead, it's 3 strikes and you're out

Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with both my final result and how my concerns were handled. I paid $350 ($150 Groupon credit + $200 cash). I originally wanted a natural/nude-looking result, but during my consultation Iris recommended Black Cherry, explaining that it would blend with my natural lip color and make the color more uniform. I agreed to her recommendation. She later confirmed to me in writing that Black Cherry was advised and used on my entire lips. I was told the appointment would take at least an hour, but the actual procedure lasted approximately 30 minutes. I also did not experience the significant initial color or peeling shown in the healing instructions I was given. When I contacted Iris on day 5 with my concerns, she initially told me my goal shade had been Nude. After I reminded her that she had recommended Black Cherry, she confirmed in writing that Black Cherry was in fact used. I was told to wait through the healing/ghosting period, so I did. Today is Day 28. To me, my lips look essentially the same as they did before the procedure, including the areas of uneven/white pigmentation I specifically hoped to blend. I am posting my September 3 before photo and October 1 Day-28 photo so people can look at the results and judge for themselves. When I raised my concerns, the conversation became confrontational and I was warned about "defamation" and the possible public use of my photographs in response. I subsequently requested that my photographs not be publicly used. I waited 28 days before reviewing because I wanted to be fair. Based on my personal experience and the result I received, I would not return for another treatment.
