I heard the GM at this club is nowhere to be seen and there's not enough staff. A real GM should have this place cleaned up with very little effort. There's no attention to detail. There is nobody working the lobby to greet or answer questions. The mens bathroom is gross and looks like it hasn't been updated in 30 years. I get that the clubhouse is old but there is zero effort being put in to update. When I was there as a golf guest with a buddy of mine the menu was printed crooked on crumpled paper and the members told me it's been like that for months. Let me restate. The menu was printed crooked from a printer on stock paper crumpled up with holes in it. How embarrassing is that? There was 1 waiter working both of their restaurants at the same time. I work in hospitality and this place is run by pure amateurs. There are 5 clubs within 15 miles of this club that present like true country clubs.

Machines…read morehave been broke for over a month with no repair and the culture here has a lot of people not following simple rules, such as slamming your weights (which is why the machines keep breaking, having full business calls while sitting on a machine, re-racking etc). I come everyday and never see staff monitor the floor. The trainers are down here, but I'm assuming it's not their responsibility. With no one monitoring and getting rid/or giving warnings to the disrespectful gym members, machines will keep breaking. Hopefully they turn it around, really have enjoyed this gym.

It's clean, has towel service, has every piece of equipment I could ask for, but, most importantly, every person who works there is fantastic, starting with the manager. The front desk folks make a point of remembering you and greeting you by name. It's a big touch, and makes one feel welcome. I use, on occasion, the squash courts, the pool, spin class, the indoor track and, of course, the gym. All are kept immaculate, court reservations are on an app and are easy to get, and there's never a problem with getting (or sharing) a lap lane. I did see a review discussing the equipment in the gym and the culture. While from time to time a piece of equipment breaks, rarely is it down for any length of time. I do agree that some folks don't understand (actually they don't care) about etiquette (not restacking weights, sitting on equipment and using the phone, etc), and while I have not seen trainers policing them, I have noticed a ton of signage going up with gym rules and requests to abide by them. Some people are going to be jerks, I suppose, but I'm not sure how one can solve this problem other than by educating them. I could not recommend this place more

The pool here is Olympic size with a swim lane, a diving board and deep end of 9' I believe. Lifeguards (at least 4 at any time) are always on duty. They also have a kiddy pool which is great for kids under 2. The great thing about the pool is that it's Members Only or members guests. This helps to keep the riffraff out. On the same grounds as the pool is a rec room. This place is perfect for having parties, get-togethers, or reunions. There's even a bathroom in the rec room, so you don't have to go downstairs to use the shower area connected to the pool. There's also a kitchenette, and tables and chairs are already in the rec room. This room is available to members of the pool for a fee of around $200. There are also some tennis courts right next to the pool area. The tennis courts are great because they're fenced in. The fence looks like they are 8 to 10 feet high, so you don't really have to worry about balls leaving the court area. Next to the tennis court is an asphalt basketball court. I'm pretty sure it's a full court from the looks of it. Next to the basketball court is a nice jungle gym for kids to play on. The jungle gym area is mulched. This area contains swings for both young children, as well as infants and toddlers. It also has monkey bars, a couple of slides and a hamster tunnel for kids to crawl through. Near the jungle gym area is a dog waste repository. It also has a bag dispenser for animal waste. Parking in this place is pretty good most of the time. In the summertime you shouldn't have a problem finding a parking spot even at peak swimming hours. I will say however, that during swim team season parking can be at a premium during swim meets. Living in the neighborhood right next to the swimming pool, I've experienced firsthand people parking right on the street in front of my house and taking up my parking spot. People have gone as far as to also park in front of fire hydrants; the police actually patrol this neighborhood frequently and often hand out tickets when they see this. Overall this is a great area. It's great to take your kids out to the park and let them play on the jungle gym, there's also a walking path that winds through Runnymede Park, there's swimming in the summer, tennis, and just about anything you want here if you're an outdoors person.

(I think there is also a small section for Ping Pong) I believe it has about 7-8 courts or so and it is usually always packed! There are many league games to be played through FXA and they also have courts up for rental. The staff there had been nothing been absolutely helpful and resourceful! Their ceilings aren't particularly low however, many high balls can bump into the lights and poles above. The lights are also blinding at times but other than that the court areas are pretty spacious -- minus the sides due to the nets. There is quite a bit of space to put your belongings and for people to come by to watch + support! The floors could use some sweeping as it is usually slippery/dusty Overall, this location consistently holds many leagues, tourneys, and open gyms and would recommend 7/10 for the facility but 9/10 to come play!

He never tried to oversell me on anything even though he easily could have done so. He walked me around and helped me get everything that my husband would need to stay warm and have an epic time snowboarding. His passion and thoughtfulness shone through. He was answering phone calls, handling other customers and juggling me with ease. Super fantastic. Will come back to Sterling or Fairfax for any future needs. There are several play structures, spread out, and lots of shade. There's also tennis courts, a whole row of swings, and an obstacle course (more for older kids). There's a couple areas for younger kids and areas for older kids just based on the play structures. We lucked out with a gorgeous day and for the most part kids can distance themselves. However since it's huge the kids really are not in one area close together for long. The best part is the whole place is a rubber floor instead of mulch or dirt! We will definitely go again!!!
