The beach and views were amazing. We ate dinner here and ordered: 1.) Vino verde - they have a section of about 3 diff. Bottles in this variety - our choice was good 2.) Grilled Chorizo (spelling?) - excellent and as expected on the saltier side 3.) Shrimp in Garlic butter - hit the spot 4.) octopus salad - decent but not the best I've had (see review on Lisbon timeout market) 5.) Grilled sardines- great 6.) Grilled mackerel - was good but one of the two fish had a few scales on it (and I'm not used to sorting out the guts myself...so...) I would recommend this place.

We told the server that we were referred by the place we were saying and he arrogantly said " Everyone recommends us"like he could care less. His superior and snarky attitude was a real turnoff. We were not super hungry so we ordered a few starters and some drinks. The server who brought our food was very attentive and kind. The food wasn't outstanding, earthmoving or even unique. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. The greeter stopped by our table, one more time to advise us that the restaurant would be closed tomorrow as a group of 40 Asians rented the place out "because we are so good." His total attitude turned us off. As we left, the restaurant was not even 1/2 full, so I'm not sure why he was put out that we had not made reservations. There are better places to eat in Óbidos.
