While we were walking around a big empathetic smile from the restaurant hostess caught us. We decided to try. We were low on expectations as the place claims to be a French restaurant of American food. What a mistake from us. We ordered the pastrami fries. It was unbelievably amazing and delicious. I also ordered a simple cheeseburger. My kids ordered a cheeseburger and a fondue burger. The meat temperature was just perfect. We all ordered medium, and medium they were. Not being super good enough, the staff is amazing, nice and super helpful. The low point, if there was any, would be to the pricing point . A little high for the neighborhood, but not prohibitive.

I wouldn't recommend the couvert. It's $18 for goat cheese + bacalhau + chicken liver pate (similar to foie gras) in Port wine. The whole assortment was interesting, but they have a single type of french bread which was bland. Appetizers * Cheese Salad (Salada ao queijo St Marcelin Empanado com nozes) was good, but I wouldn't get it again. The fried cheese was very interesting touch * Tartines were very good, I'd recommend. They had a thin crunchy toast base, and the toppings were lively and tasty. Dessert * Excellent place for dessert, everything we had was outstanding * The Tarte tatin was very good. The apples had a balance between firmness and softness that was extremely good. The tarte crust was thin and soft. * Café gourmand - comes with a creme brulee, chocolate mousse and a macaroon. Probably the best chocolate mousse I've ever had. The texture is amazing. They said the mousse was the main house dessert based off an 80 year old recipe.

This restaurant just goes to show that even French food can be dull and disappointing in São Paulo…read more I had gnocchi and cordeiro (lamb) here and the meal was a sorry excuse for real French (or Italian) food. The gnocchi tasted like basically nothing...just soft dough (irrespective of the fact that it had some sort of bland cheese sauce on top). Before ordering this meal I asked the chef if I could have pesto sauce on the gnocchi because I had a feeling the food might be lackluster in the flavor department. He reassured me that he would add it, however, there was no pesto to be found on the plate. I ordered the gnocchi based on his assurances, all for naught because he forgot to deliver what he promised. The lamb was okay... though it's kinda hard to mess up lamb unless you overcook it, so this is not some kind of accomplishment. Even the dessert options seemed lackluster here, and I'm a HUGE fan of sweets. My advice: skip this place and opt instead for Due Cuochi one block down.

The food was very good. For appetizer, we asked for "Bolinho de risoto" which was ok. For the real deal, I asked for "Medalhão ao molho mostarda", while my girlfriend asked for salmon. Both were very tasty and delicious. We asked for some soft drinks. I asked for "Soft rouge" and my girlfriend for "Soft Lychia". Both were very good. At the end, we decided not to have dessert because we were pretty satisfied, but I was surprised that they cooked a dessert with a candle on top of it, without even asking for. Also, the place is awesome. Beautiful, well designed and fancy. Ideal for a date

Very well known from its classic menu, if you want to try great food without any doubt, this is the place. Never had anything there that did not appreciate. Good drinks, good wine, the waitress staff is very kind and attentive. The scallops with white truffles and caviar are delicious and so fresh!!! The ambience is full of very well dressed people. Can't go there dressing shirts for example. A bit old fashion, but nice. Be aware: very pricey. The coffee is good and come with a nice variety of sweets that is always different.
