The best is the complete uniqueness of the property and the hosts. It's almost like staying at a friends house. But your most interesting friends! The restaurant is quintessentially French, in the best way. My gosh- there's never been a prettier salad. Hubby had steak son had the fish and ALL had the foie gras. Wine/champagne list is extensive and incredibly diverse, and reasonably priced. And the most adorable dogs live there- but they go to sleep early. AND everywhere there are unique and inspiring details. This place is a dream. Incredibly unique in a world where everything is increasingly homogeneous.
