We were so lucky say aloud us to come at the last minute we were 15 of us travelling from Philippines California, Canada and Brazil altogether the food here was phenomenal. The service was spectacular and friendly. Highly recommend their patio. It's so much fun. Thank you. Can't wait to come back. read more

Die "Sonne" ist der modernste Gastronomiebetrieb der Region Aargau, wo das junge Gastgeber-Paar Karin und Michael Hauenstein-Birchmeier für Qualitätskonstanz aus Küche und Keller sorgt. Mit Gartenterrasse, stivoll gestalteter Raucherlounge und schönem Sortiment von Zigarren aus verschiedenen Ländern. Unser Restaurant bietet Platz für 45 Personen und ist nach dem Neubau eine Mischung aus alt und neu. Der Kachelofen aus dem Jahre 1933 war bereits in der alten Sonne ein Besonderheit. Dieser wurde wieder im Restaurant integriert und gibt im Winter eine wohlige Wärme beim "Ofenbänkli" ab.

A cool chill out bar in Waldshut !!…read more Waldshut is a small city in Germany right across the swiss border (40 min from Zurich). At the weekend you see a lot of swiss people doing there shopping here. Cafe journal is a small bar in the main shopping street (really not big). It is more a nice coffee place where you can chill out. You can eat small stuf but it is not a restaurant. It is the most alternative bar in Waldshut :) The staff is cool and nice. But very German. They understand swiss german but not everything (for exemple: a "Stange" - not in their dictonary :) ) Off course you can read some newspaper there. As said, a coffee place to chill out.
