I guess we hit it on a bad day. There is a soft drink station with 2 liter bottles and a tiny bucket of ice cubes. Needless to say, the 3 ice cubes melted right away. Lol! However, it did cool off the Coke Zero. I'll give it that. I felt like I was in a different time dimension (England in the 1980s). It's what you'd expect from a pub, but not a premium lounge. Yep, Primeclass needs some work. Other than that, I found the Zurich Airport to be quite efficient. It's the lounge that needs to step it up to make it an even better experience. Go there to get away from the hustle & bustle of the terminal, but don't expect much in the way of food.

It was conveniently located just up the stairs from where you enter security. They're striking artwork hanging from the ceiling and a great view of a part of the airport and some landing strips. You can see the planes. The place is comfy and cozy, and the woman who helped me at the bar was super nice. She encouraged me to try a couple of wine before I decided on a stunning Riesling. Kept going back for the flavored almonds for some tasty crunch in between. A good burger filled the empty spot in my belly after a long travel day with no breakfast or lunch.
