I love the restaurant, it's interior is so nice and you really feel like being somewhere else then Munich/Germany. The appetizer plate was good, a lot of different dips, veggies, and fresh bread. We (4 people) shared a plate for 2. I have had other appetizer platters in Munich that had a little more things on them but it was still good. The main courses were great. Fresh fish, chicken, veal, and lamb from the grill. Served with 3 kinds of rice (the one with berries was my favorite), veggies, and bread. A great meal. Very nice Persian restaurant with good food. I had the Khoreschte Bamije (lamb and okra) which was very good but quite stingy on meat considering the price of €13.90. With your dish you also get some complimentary appetizers (olives, feta and some really good sesame bread). Service is good. read more

Slow service; one waiter for the whole place on a friday night...

Loved this place! Found it with Yelp a short walk from our hotel. Appetizer plate was so large we almost were afraid we weren't going to be able to eat our mains. Fantastic bread. Kebabs were huge and really flavorful, great rice pilaf with saffron, roasted tomato. The young man serving us (owner's son?) spoke impeccable English (as did almost everyone in Munich) and was so very gracious and friendly, even writing down the name of the Iranian tea we were enjoying so much so we could buy some. It was honestly the best restaurant service experience we had in Munich. Highly recommended. read more

It was definitely wrong of my friend and I to not ask for the bill after being charged the price, but it was late and we believed in the integrity of the owner and paid him exactly what he asked for + with some tip! The next morning, we casually checked the price of what we ordered and we realised we paid 5 euros extra - 50 instead of 45. Yes, it was only 5 euros, but we are students with less money, and more than that -- we are now shocked at how calm he was while lying to his customers and taking advantage of them! I love Pars - and I've tried the other Persian restaurants in Munich. Just by walking in and looking at the visitors, you already understand that the flavors are not germanized, and that is why the people who know good food are sitting inside. I came to Pars by a lucky mistake - I love the Persian cuisine (part of my family is from Iran), and another popular Persian restaurant was overbooked that night, so I had to look for another one. Since that first time a couple of years ago, this restaurant has become our favorite every time we want to eat well and healthy. From the outside the restaurant cannot really be seen, as it's located in the basement. The decor is very authentic, with mosaic on the tables, carpets on the walls and the floors, fountains and samovars, I just love it. The food is outstanding, we go to the restaurant quite often, and never have they disappointed us. We love the traditional Sabzi and the starters. The only drawbacks are that the toilet is a bit dirty, and sometimes the service is bored. read more
