It also has basic sushi and sashimi. The menu has a good variety of choices. We ordered 2 Peking Ducks to share. I was actually surprised that the duck was so good! It was much less fatty than typical duck in the US. While it wasn't true Peking Duck (it was grilled), the duck was very tasty with the thin wrappers and condiments. Apparently it's a popular choice here. Two of us enjoyed sashimi, and four of us chose their prix fixe menu which included starter, second course and third course selection of rice/noodles. For less than 15€, I had Chicken corn soup, Duck with Mushrooms and Bamboo shoots in a tasty sauce, and fried rice. The rice was nothing special, but again the Duck dish shined. I came back 2 more times during my stay and ordered the same duck dishes, opting for white rice. Lunch has a similar €15.50 prix fixe menu and also includes a drink (coffee, tea, beer, wine, soda), and dessert. Service at this family run place was pretty attentive and the server willing refilled our small shrimp chips basket (another fav snack of mine).

That's should have been the signs to walk out. Unfortunately we decided to sit down and eat. This is a sushi place owned and run by Chinese people. Sushi was mediocre at best. They had so much rice on sushi to fill you up. Unagi/Eel was the worst eel we ever had. Don't try this place if you are looking for sushi. They make better Chinese food than sushi and that's even mediocre at best. If you decide to try, order their gyoza and fried rice. Don't order their noodles unless you like very salty food.

Shao Lin is an all you can eat (no buffet) restaurant where you can order unlimited sushi and stir fried dishes from a pretty large menu. You can also order a la carte if you're not that hungry. Prices are 15€-20€ for AYCE or 2€-5€ for a la carte. All items are ordered from a menu by marking up the quantities you'd like on a checklist provided by the restaurant. Just hand that over to your server and wait for your food to arrive. With excruciatingly slow service and restrained portions, don't expect this to be anything like a place say in Las Vegas. Drinks came out pretty fast but the rest was an exercise in patience. Many times servers would bring us plates that didn't belong to us, or asking a server for something resulted in a finger being lifted as to say just a minute. The food quality was good and cooked well, such as the stir fried noodles. All had decent flavor with a slight char.
