I think this is a fantastic place for after work drinks or a date. It's just bright enough for you to read the menu and see each other, but just dark enough that the your pores and pimples are well-hidden. Tako have really succeed with the interior and it felt both trendy and cozy. We had a really good waitress who mad the experience even better. We ordered different dishes and shared in our company. I really should've taken pictures. I couldn't believe my eyes! As for the food, there were some positives about the experience. Some of the dishes were edible and the sushi rolls were ok as well. However... I struggled to chew through some of the dumpling wrappers. I had to spit out some beef. The rice took a few good, strong swings to release itself from the serving spoon. The shumai and potstickers were so sticky and over-steamed that trying to pick one up was an impossible task. I've never before felt so betrayed by bamboo steamers in my life.
