Casa Pinto is nestled in the streets and alleys of Locorotondo, so it'll be fun and adventurous to look for especially first timers. The front of the restaurant had quite a few tables fully booked and their pizzas looked delish. We asked to be seated upstairs, so we had to go to the back alley for the stairs. It was more quieter up there, but eventually people started to roll in. We didn't know dinner for Puglians would be so late! The fun starts around 9pm! We ordered a vegetable starter that wasn't to our liking. The marinated eggplants was a bit too vinegar strong and no flavors with the onions. On the other hand, their pizzas were on point! I ordered the Casa Pinto and my friend ordered a Pesto one. It is hands down one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! I've never been a fan of red sauce, but I guess the Americans butchered it! Then after we received our water another 10 minutes or so to take our order. When we did order we also ordered a bottle of wine. 20 minutes or so our appetizer came out we had no silverware or our wine. I had to ask for both. They were more interested in the table that was next to us(who seemed to be their friends) or going outside to smoke then taking care of us! When the second course came they had taken my fork and I had to ask for that too! Because they were busy with table next to us! A little detached from the immediate centre of historic Locorotondo but worth the effort to find…read more Excellent attentive service and a really clinical, bright but cosy interior. My three companions enjoyed their meals but I personally made a bad choice from my own perspective not based on the food. Wine list excellent. Check the eclectic menu before going and consider a reservation unless you go early. Bina is in the top three locally by all accounts.
