We had a really amazing dinner at this restaurant. It was recommended to us by the front desk staff at our hotel/winery. The waiter/sommelier, he's not one yet he's studying for it, was very helpful in choosing the right wines to go with the dishes that we ordered.
When we arrived at seven, there was one couple sitting at a table and quickly more couples arrived, and by the time we left after 9 PM, it was nearly full. We went on a weekday, and fortunately were able to get a reservation last minute because our front desk called for us.
This location's Yelp status is a little misleading because they say it's a wine shop and so we asked the waiter/sommelier about it and he said they used to sell a lot of wine there and then they decided to open a restaurant at the location so the yelp designation is a little bit off as it truly is a restaurant now. When you walk in there is a case that holds some of the items that they serve however I don't know that you could order them.
The orecchiette with onion sauce was delicious with tiny black olive "pearls", the panna cotta dessert was the best one we've ever had as normally they have very minimal flavor, and this one had a nice almond essence.
Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the guanciale entree however it was very tender and delicious with the reduced wine sauce.
We highly recommend this restaurant, if you are into wine and good food. read more
