The food is pretty standard but decent & good value. The variety is good for a relatively small restaurant in a relatively small town. Plus, in October 2021, they were one of the few places actually offering a reliable buffet (due to covid). The egg roll had a lot of meat & fried lo min (thin noodles) had pretty good wok flavour. Char Siew chicken was pretty tasty (normally I detest that dish). The dessert was above average (excluding the ice cream, as expected; green ice cream was pistachio & it was very mild [I dislike pistachio so that's ok]

The one good thing I can say about this place is the portion is HUGE. One dish can feed four people. And the price is cheap. And the waitress is nice. However in the Quebec countryside away from the big cities it's almost impossible to find much in the way of different food other than your typical chicken, burgers, pizza/pasta. At times pizza is as different as it gets. So I had to try FuXing. It even had an authentic name not like Chez Hwang or Chez Kwong. Props to that! Menu items offered was very plentiful. Check box #1 Decor was simple, clean and tasteful. Check box #2 Big servings of bountiful fresh food. Check box #3 This is the real deal Chinese food. beef, chicken, seafood, rice, noodles. Great selection. One downside, I did order the FuXing soup and it was pretty bland. But the General Tao (quite good), Cantonese chow mein and the FuXing fried rice were very good. You could even taste the wok hei of the fried rice. Service from the woman working was great. I asked her where she was from and she said "Canton". I asked where in Canton? Shenzhen? Guangdong? Guangzhou? She declared Guanzhou. Very nice and polite. Overall I'm definitely coming back when in RDL.
