My German communication abilities are childish at best and they made me feel very accommodated. Secondly the wine recommendation paired with the beef fillet was perfect. Gracious wait staff. Atmosphere from an English perspective is Euro-Sheryl. Elegant and quiet. Great for groups of 4 and couples. Or even singles like myself. Food took approximately 30 min to deliver. Beef fillet was most expensive item at €29. So moderate pricing. Very precisely cooked at request of "medium." The BBQ sauce is sweet with a growing spice heat that compliments well if you want additional flavor to the fillet. Will probably eat here during my stay's duration! Accept card and cash!

The restaurant is located on a nice tree filled square. We ordered a salad which we shared, followed by a meat and fish main course. Both main courses were nicely prepared. My wife really enjoyed meat dish special with spätzle, I enjoyed the fish with rice (both pictured). Service was excellent. We also enjoyed a bottle of rose - the wine prices are excellent throughout Strasbourg. Highly recommended.

We wondered in late and asked if they were still serving food. There was only one other table occupied and they were having drinks so I know they made an exception for us. I had the schnitzel and my wife had the chicken special. Both were excellent. Sides were great. The best part is trying to decipher the menu and order. Our waitress did her best to translate since menus are only available in German. This is what makes travel so fun! After a few beers and some laughter, we wrapped it up and headed back to France. Now we can tell everyone that we had breakfast in Paris, lunch in Stroudsburg, and dinner in Baden, Germany.
