What sets this restaurant apart from many that Americans will visit is that it offers plates of Goat and Rabbit along with more traditional (American) fare. The goat was simply amazing and was cooked a Vermouth reduction sauce. The rabbit was served with a mushroom sauce and also tasted like it has a touch or vermouth imbued within the sauce. To start the meal we had a wonderful shrimp salad and the meal was finished with chocolate ice cream saturated with chocolate chips and a dark chocolate sauce. The service was top notch and the restaurant was full of locals enjoying a great meal. To accompany the meal I ordered a 1998 cabernet sauvignon (wine from the last century!) and it was the perfect touch to a fantastic lunch.

Most every off-the-chart suggestion we tried was exceptional, with my favorite actually being Tomaquets de Temporada amp Burratina í old D'Alfabrega. This was probably the best Burrata and Tomatoes serving I've ever tasted. It must be their spiced basil oil. The other standout special was a delicious Pintxo de Foie a la Plantxa, luxurious grilled foie gras skewer. A couple of drag queens came in promoting their show. They were a hoot at our table. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming and most spoke very good English. We stayed a short walk away from this restaurant, so it was very convenient for us. We have been there 3 times in the past week! Definitely a must if you're staying in the area!
