A friend and I went to check out this warehouse that is usually reserved for restaurant owners and such. You are able to get a one day only pass by showing your drivers license and filling out a form with your name and address. There's so many options in the store and it's really quite wonderful to be able to purchase things that restaurants purchase. I went in specifically for cannoli shells and walked out with a box of them for $25. The box contains 60 small shells and I thought that was a decent price. I also snatched up some beautiful shrimp, frozen ravioli, and a few other items that caught my attention. Not everything was a fantastic bargain hence the deletion of one star on this rating. read more

Great place to buy in bulk, make sure to bring a heavy jacket because it is super cold in the refrigerator, I tend to forget every time I come here. A fast variety of bulk foods with decent prices. Containers for food are cheaper than your warehouse grocery stores that carry container's. Well first time there, and from the beginning the guy at the entry service desk is rude, asked for a one day pass and got it with some attitude, then after picking up half the stuff we needed for out new food truck proceeded to check out, the cashier Dinitra seemed confused and struggling with the large order, she seemed to not know what she has scanned or didn't scan so I started paying attention to the screen to ensure nothing was double charged, when her and the other person noticed my attention the asked me to step away and proceeded to turn the cashiers screen away from me at which time I made a comment about her rudeness and said we would never have this type of service at Costco Business Center, and one of the manager heard me and asked if there was a problem? I told her Yes and explained the situation and she stepped in to check how they where scanning the items and made a recommendation to Dinitra that she should scan and move items down to the other side of the cashier belt or rollers, she said she would talk to her once we where done. I'm not sure if my political pin on my hat triggered this attitude as well but if that is the case she needs to know that we are still the ones keeping her employed and this business open. We went there with the intention of getting a membership but have since reconsidered and will NOT be returning. Fortunately for restaurant owners they are not the only warehouse to purchase from so we will simply take our business elsewhere. The store probably deserves three star rating with a fair number of items that are definitely a great value, however, as some other reviews pointed out, some of the staff at registers are people with no manners, no customer service skills and probably poor social skills outside work. While I understand that accents can be difficult to understand, I was shocked when one employee yelled at her coworker, saying, "Bro, her accent is so strong I can't understand", and asked me if I was Mexican.There were a few people in line behind me, and it was disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism. A place for business/restaurant owners to buy things in bulk for a good reseller's price. Located south of the airport in a mildly hidden business park. Valid business license required for membership (free) ! This is like a Costco/Sams Club for strictly for business owners. A lot of things sold in bulk but there are also options to buy some things individually. Huge walk-in fridge for produce, whole line doors for frozen seafood (shrimp, squid, sushi quality fish, etc) to frozen ingredients for desserts, and frozen veggies. Another entrance (if u don't wanna be frozen by the time you get to the other side) for fresh meats (fresh seafood, halal/USDA choice/Angus beef (imagine the huge packs of brisket/rib eye/strip steak at Costco... and that's how ALL the meat here is packaged), cheeses, pork, lamb, etc. Seafood prices were amazing !!! Canned crab meat is super fresh, from different origins. Meats, i found kind of comparable to the other warehouses. Its funny because outside this freezer, they have coats hanging for people to use. I was inside the freezer for a good 5-10 minutes before i was starting to feel cold. You warm up super fast after coming back out too. Rest of Restaurant Depot had restaurant equipment, bulk sauces, oils, nuts, seasonings, drink syrups/mixers, drinks, utensils, packaging... anything you'd expect to use in a restaurant setting. I love coming here to purchase bulk foods and paper products because the quality & prices are great!! I do also shop at Sam's Club, but sometimes I prefer Restaurant Depot because things can be a lot more cheaper. Things I buy often here?! I love buying $40 40 lb cases of chicken thighs (so cheap) & cases of shrimp. I also buy take out containers here because they have much more variety than Sams. This place is like the HOME DEPOT for food and cutlery/utensils/restaurant furniture, etc. I like this place for several reasons. 1. Bulk Buying = Bulk Savings. You really have to look at their advertisement before shopping at this place to get the best deals, but regardless of what you may buy - it's almost always a better deal than your local supermarket. 2. HALAL MEAT. If you've read my other reviews, it's probably nothing new that I like my meat *halal* - and when you say halal & bulk & savings together...you've pretty much won my heart. A majority of the restaurants that serve halal meat get it from this place too, cause you know....restaurant quality :) 3. Ghirardelli sauce? Whipped cream? Fresh bulked veggies? How do you shop here? I tried to go set up an account. I just had surgery and can't lift ANYTHING, so I needed help, so I brought someone along and they brought a child. They wouldn't let us in, but groups of people with more than one kid were walking right in and past us to shop. As a huge fan of the t.v. show "Top Chef," I was always curious when the contestants would go shop at Restaurant Depot on the show. When I discovered there was one in town, I did some research to see how I could shop there. One big caveat: it's not open to the public and you must have a membership card to even get in the door. The good news is that you don't have to be in the restaurant business to get a membership -- all you need is a valid Nevada business license. If you do a lot of events with catering or where food is served (like me), it's fairly easy to get a card. You can apply in person at the membership desk and membership is FREE. Once you get a card, you can get into any Restaurant Depot location in the country (and yes, every one is pretty much the same but they all have regional differences). Don't expect super cheap prices here. Most of the prices are about the same as you'd pay for buying in bulk at Sam's Club or Costco. What IS a great deal are the giant bags of frozen seafood / prepared foods, the professional grade knives and sharpeners, and other restaurant supplies. I mostly buy Aqua Panna imported Italian water. I used to buy it for $1.89 per bottle at Total Wine but here an entire case of 12 bottles runs about $13. That's not a huge savings, but it's still a better deal. I've also purchased some fun things like espresso spoons, giant cans of olive oil, gigantic jars of hot sauce, and huge cases of cheese and asparagus. If you cook a LOT you will probably enjoy this place. You'll find aisles of food, dry goods (giant bags of beans, huge cans of peanuts, restaurant packs with 12 bottles of Heinz ketchup), chef supplies (chef coats, professional knives, pizza oven supplies), barware (heavy duty coffee cups, spoons, napkins) and just about everything you could need to run a restaurant (menu boards, professional grade blenders, ovens, coolers, wine glasses, cleaning products, pizza boxes, tiny packets of mayonnaise and more). My favorite part of the store is the huge, glorious walk-in refrigerated section. The store supplies bright orange parkas for you to borrow while you browse. In this section you'll find huge boxes of produce, cheese, meat, seafood and more. Don't expect fancy, this is a true warehouse. This is one of the most fun places EVER if you are a foodie. First time "attempting" to visit this place. My partner and our 2 children came in together. We saw the signs that only 2 people can come in under a membership. We hadn't signed up yet so we asked if we could do the one day pass (one for my partner and one for myself, we would split the kids). Customer service from "Brandy" was not pleasant. She answered with an attitude and was smart-aleck. She stated she would give me a day pass if we had 2 separate businesses otherwise, I had to leave. This place is sort of like a Costco ( although much less organized and I didn't think that was possible) for business owners, small businesses I guess. Anyway it is a warehouse that has stuff stacked everywhere not just on the shelves, I mean there are no aisles you just have to maneuver around stuff sort of like going for a hike in a forrest but instead of trees it's stacks of food. Everything is sold in bulk like 100lbs of butter or 50 bottles of sirracha so it's definitely for resteraunts. It is absolute chaos inside and out with fork lifts flying around like the Miami grand prix ( dangerous?) And outside people flying around the parking lot, If you don't move they will run over you. I think they get bonus points on their card for each pedestrian needing an ambulance! Anyway inside when you come to line up for checkout bring your phone, you can check your social media (all of it), write your significant other so they don't report you missing and play 3 or 4 of your favorite games. You will be in line for a while, they are very efficient just lots of people. Anyway if you make it out without having a birthday and you get home ot will now take you a good hour rearranging your fridge and pantry to fit everything in. For me this is a bit of a torturous journey more than a happy experiance but for some it's a necessary evil. To each their own but not for me. read more

I come here 2-3 times per week. The staff and management are very friendly and accommodating. The cashiers are significantly friendlier and more professional now than I've ever seen in my previous years of coming here. Years ago, there were more warehouse style potty mouths cashiering. Now the regular cashiers and cashier supervisors that I have gotten to know are much more engaging and professional and efficient. I also like the friendly team that works in the walk-in cooler in the produce and meat sections. Love this place but you have to learn how to shop smart! I would say 60% of the things sold are cheaper and the 40% could be purchased cheaper at Sams or Costco. Workers is always complaining about not being treated well during checkout process or complain of not being paid fair.. which seems to be a common issue talked amongst the workers.. they never really interact with the customer aside from asking for your money. Bathroom stalls are horrible! Some of their items for sale has "patch" work on them like the flour.
