We come here twice weekly and notice that 8out 10 employees look so miserable and bothered when you ask for help including management . Today's visit I ran into 3 beautiful cheerful glad to see you and daylights awakening smiles 2 cashiers and one gentleman checking receipts at the door . There energy was ok tier . Wish I could say that about everyone else but unfortunately not . The 5 star is for today's employees JGNALY / TONI and ASIA ! Thank you for making our trip pleasant . read more

It's Costco on crack. You'd better be prepared to buy enough to totally stock up! Great place, fair pricing, tons of product. read more

Oh, this depot is just running so smoothly with their whopping two cashiers on a Saturday morning! The line stretching all the way to the back is just a bonus. And let's not forget the incredibly charming and customer-oriented produce workers. Their customer service skills are truly unmatched. I can only dream of another company opening up to give them some healthy competition. Their customer service is just top-notch. read more

Restaurant Depot - Long line - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Colton, California

They have what I need. I love buying their sourdough bread and they're large pieces of meat that I can cut how I like it.

Great place to shop, fair pricing, tons of good stuff to buy. I shop here 5 times a week.

From entering to cash out customer service is extremely poor. My honest opinion is to retrain employees. As my first time and last time to spend my hard working money to this location. read more

Always a go to in a crunch! Good service, good product and always dependable! Selection of product is great and the value of product allows me to purchase confidently! read more

The service is not the best one only one cashier at seven in the morning. This is ridiculous.

Always able to find what you need. Gentleman in fresh fish department is very nice and helpful. Love this place

Went here to get their deals that they had on the month ad. They had everything in stock that I wanted to get and even more! I love coming here for all my needs as they have great prices and everyone is so friendly! I even split the transactions as I had to get reimbursed separately and the cashier didn't mind at all. Will be back! read more

2 0 stars if I could....2 checkers and the line is to the end of the store. I have been in line for over 40 min. My frozen food is thawing and other items leaking on the floor. Are they trying to be cheap on labor? This is ridiculous. I come for a few items that they carry, but I HATE coming here. The attitude of the managers is awful and not helpful at all. They forget we pay their salary by shopping here, and they should treat the customers better. Cars get broken into, so beware. read more

The store itself is in ruins at the moment they are re-organizing, restructuring whatever however, this post is mainly due to the service and I'm not kidding when I say I saw one person legitimately working well about five others stood around, laughing gossiping doing whatever, but not working and then their current person deliberately put four big ass cards right behind my vehicle, making it seemingly difficult to pull out. These people really need to work on doing better because they're working with actual restaurant and if that is how they go about their business, I'm going to tell my restaurant people to steer clear of here at all costs. read more

Restaurant Depot - Their cart people deliberately put these behind my car two being stuck together - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Colton, California

Very helpful staff and friendly service! I look forward to shopping here for my bakery and catering business on a regular!!!

They usually have what I'm looking for. Their pricing is relatively cheap. However the customer service is terrible, possibly the worst I've dealt with in the restaurant supply business. Ladies at the desk in front of cashiers are the absolute worst and have very foul attitudes. The hate to be asked anything. And for that reason I come here as a last resort. The guys on the equipment are usually friendly and willing to help. read more

We've been coming here for years, we own a restaurant in big bear, and have used Restaurant Depot as our supplier. I am very disappointed! Yesterday I was assaulted, and my car was broken into by two men with masks while I was in the car. I was trying to load up my truck and they are stealing the contents inside the truck. This has been a traumatic experience, and I would not recommend any woman to go there by herself. I have emailed the corporate office and I have yet to hear from them and probably won't. It took 2 1/2 hours to get a person there from the police department because Restaurant Depot would not call them. They said I had to after I dealt with a car trying to run me over with two men with masks on, after they had stole my purse. So yes, I am very irritated. And yes, I'm going to see if there is any retribution. This place has gone downhill slowly in the past few years. I try and park up front because that seems a little safer, but if you park in the back, I have seen many people with their car windows, smashed out, and the valuables stolen. The manager Tomas is honestly the worst possible manager. Hopefully things will settle down there but I doubt I'll be back. I would give it minus stars if I could. read more

If I could give it zero I would, workers have the worst customer service cashiers and forklift, if you don't wanna do your job quit. I'm not sure what's up with management but they should definitely fix this problem No need to have an attitude when all I'm trying to do is shop then stand in y'all long lines but have the nerve to be mad at the customers when we finally do reach the register (no greet or anything) just next smh Some Customer Service training would be great for this company read more

Today I had the worse experience. A man that works there named Luis in the meat department was so rude to me. I asked him for help twice and he didn't acknowledge me at all. Then when I approached him and told him I asked him for help twice, he yelled at me and said he was busy with someone else. Which I understand that people are busy. My thing was, the acknowledgment of letting me know he would be right with me. Honestly he needs more training in customer service. I walked away and asked another gentleman for help which he did, then Luis came back running arguing with me in front of the other employee. I felt unsafe at that moment, he even made a remark "don't talk to me like you talk to your husband" yelled it in front of employees and clients. As a woman I will not allow a man to disrespect me. It's already intimidating to walk in the meat department in a male dominated section. And for him to be rude. Someone needs to reprehend him!! read more

restaurant depot has become worse and worse. ever since they made arrangements of their products everything is all over the place and so unorganized. they can't seem to stock their items on time. everything is out. customer service is the worse. read more

Today August 19th at 12:15 pm the person working the customer service desk should NOT be working customer service I went in and was standing there while she completely ignored me mind you I am the only person standing there. As I proceeded to ask her for a pass she seemed so bothered, this is the first person you see as you walk into the store businesses should put there best out there, first impressions are important! read more

Poor customer service from the manager herself after she screwed up multiple times on my order and I told her I was running short on time after the third time she messed up. she messed up fourth and fifth and then condescendingly told me I hope you can have a better day now. Meanwhile, while I'm standing there, stressed about time she's gossiping to her employee. I told that same employee to go ahead and go do something else instead of waiting for her to fix her issues and his response in front of her was don't worry I get paid by the hour. This is Restaurant Depot/jetro Xpress scam Center where they probably spend more money in labor than they sell in goods. read more

How does cal osha not shut this place down. I almost get ran over by fork lift drivers every time I go. It's like they think it's a race.the workers are extremely rude. No people skills. read more

This place is strictly for professionals. If you do not have membership don't bother coming. Call ahead and be sure you have what you need to be allowed in. It is exactly what you would picture... a HUGE warehouse for all restaurants supplies. The meat section is pretty impressive. If you are able to get a membership here DO IT! however I am not sure how their prices fares up against like sysco or the other main suppliers. Do your homework for sure. On March 1 I ordered 75 hams from restaurant depot to fulfill a homeless and senior outreach with the town of Apple Valley and our church the first Assembly of God in Apple Valley. So last week Wednesday I got a confirmation again for the third time that our hams would be there on the 3rd or the 6th of April. Sunday morning April 2 I get up to get ready to go to church and I get a text from Luis who is a great guy that I've been working with and he tells me sorry we can't fill your order. Wow they really stressed me out, so I had to go hunting for hams a few days before Easter, and thank the Lord we were able to find them no help from Restaurant Depot so if you're planning something sorry I wouldn't order from them. read more

Absolutely love this place, it is for members only people! We've been coming here for almost two years and the staff are good at what they do. They just recently expanded the store towards the back and it's well organized (if you been there a few time you know where everything is at) The cashiers are very friendly and David at the liquor isle is very helpful. Good job guys!!! read more

I run a small charcuterie business and was referred to this location by a colleague. I dropped by to check it out before submitting the necessary documents to become a regular customer. There were alot of items to choose from. Paper goods, cooking/eating utensils and a large variety of foods. The store overall wasn't overly busy and was organized. They post samples above the items (plates, boxes etc.) to give you a visual of exactly what you would be buying. I thought this was a great idea bc seeing the size, shape and color in person is alot better than reading a description on a box. The downside was that alot of the items were missing these samples. Other than that the prices seemed decent and the selection of goods was large. Seems like a good option for shopping for a small business. read more

Loved this store in the past but the Covid has caused them to forget the customer.... This store is disorganized, dirty and slow as hell!!!! Yvette is a rude manager and and should be back in shipping where her rudeness and lack of customer service can't do damage..... read more

Just arrived only to see a long line outside the door. Was told they instituted a new maximum occupancy limit. On a Monday after a holiday weekend. They require you to wear masks inside, they sanitize the shopping carts, and there is only one customer allowed at each check out station. Those should be more than adequate COVID precautions. I understand the risk involved whenever I enter a big box store. To add another 30 minutes to an already frustrating shopping experience at Restaurant Depot is ridiculous. Sysco will be happy with their additional order. read more

It seem Restaurant Depot has finally gave up. They don't have experience workers and the supervisor has let the place do whatever they want. The seafood department took two days off. I call to speak with the seafood department and was on hold for 40mins. I drove to the location still on hold and when I arrived the seafood section was empty no workers and the lady in front told me they took the day off. What is going on here. I canceled my account before I left. read more

This is a good place to shop it's affordable for ur restaurant supplies but the customer service is not really friendly and not helpful specially if u left something and u ask them they will give you an attitude which the one who answered the call is a women duty 9:25am 3.19.2020, i know everybody got an issues but hopefully she don't give an attitude like that she is a virus to people also im sorry but im telling the truth. I had a terrible experience today at the produce section The produce manager grab my box of eggplant and put another one without my permission claiming it has too many once I ask them to check the recorded camera at that section to show that person don't say the truth they didn't take it seriously I reported him to office manager That not acceptable I stop my shopping and told the store manager about that I Ll buy my stuff from different store read more

I had purchased a new BBQ from a dealer in the inland empire and asked if they knew of a place were you could purchased large cuts of meat for smoking, well this is the place. Not only do they have a meat locker, but produce, and utensils, and just about everything you need to run a restaurant. When you enter they ask if your a member, if not you need to fill out paperwork and have a resale number, no exceptions. But this place is like the BIG BROTHER of Costco. I purchased a 16lb brisket to smoke and it was FANTASTIC. They have everything including pots, pan, chef uniforms, all utensils, machinery, refrigeration, ice makers, paper products, wow. I understand they have several locations, so if you have a resale number and are planning a large party and serving food this is the place. read more

I decided to shop here for the first time because Costco was too busy. And oh my God, that was my mistake. Employees will look at their customers like "why you are here?" I spoke to a few and none were really friendly. This gets me thinking, their managent must be really bad. read more

Went there on 06/24/21 the guys on the forklifts were very rude and constantly drove around the warehouse at unsafe speeds and thought it was funny. The cashier realized that one of my packages of shrimp was open asked one of her associates to exchange it and her response was to tell me to do it. So I just didn't purchase it! Got home opened my case of chicken drummets and the stench from the spoiled chicken turned my stomach.... returned them on the next day 06/25/21 the young lady in customer service never acknowledged my presence until I said something. She stated that she was filling orders when it was brought to her attention that she never acknowledged me. I asked her to get someone to help me then. Pulling into to Oliver street from Hunt one of the employees swerved from behind me ran the red light which was an arrow and went into the employee tan Kia Optima.... overall I'm. Very disappointed with my. Visits to the Colton store and will make the drive to Torrance from now on.... Colton is awful and not a pleasant place to shop! read more

I completely disagree with comments about the service being terrible. Every time I go in and shop at this store someone approaches me with a smile on their face, ready and willing to help. In particular, I am impressed with Tommy, the manager. If I ever have an issue or am in need of a product, I can go to him and get results. They offer very competitive pricing, and I like the fact that I can pick out my own produce and meat. It's always fresh and great priced. Restaurant depot has been a life saver!! read more

I've been coming here for years it's just disappointing that there cashiers are always so rude and cranky . I never let that bother me but the other day it crossed the line . I was shopping the other day and there employees that drive those fort cliffs go so fast in the store I almost got ran over twice the other day while I was shopping 2 employees just laughed . Can you believe they didn't even apologize for almost hitting me? That's not the only thing that happened but the employee driving the fort cliff told his co worker "I should of ran her over ". That made me so hurt I left the store crying . I informed 2 mangers they said they'll address it to the employees but I actually hope they will because if someone gets hit they'll get really hurt . I'm really disappointed with how awful there employees are . They shouldn't be going that fast on those fort cliffs they should have common sense that there customers are shopping. Very very disappointed with my experience. read more

If I could I'd choose no star for this place. When are you going to hire people with customer skills? Every time I come here I have to deal with rude employees, but today it was worst than ever. Alissa, the cashier, was vulgar and uncivil. Just a bit of education in manners would be great read more
