Not too dim nor too bright for dinner. Good for groups too. Price. Very reasonable price and good value. It seems like all dinner entree come with a free salad and an appetizer. The appetizer was pita with tzatziki sauce and olives.

The food there is nothing short of delicious. Every time I've been there it's been fabulous. Flavourful and plentiful, and I'd even go as far as saying it's the best Turkish I've ever had (having never been to Turkey myself) You must try the mixed meze and the shish kebab, because hot damn, it's good. The service is also excellent, the staff, who perhaps don't speak fluent English, are attentive and polite, and they do a fantastic lunch menu for around £8 for 3 courses. Can't get much better than that. ; )

One of my favorite foods is Mediterranean and we both did come back that night. We did order quite a different variety of items on the menu. I did take a photo which wasn't even the completed photo of everything that was ordered and between the both of us we definitely were up for the challenge. Between the grilled chicken and the lentil soup, this was by far the best Turkish food I've ever had. I ordered a side of cucumber tomato, which I then moved to my side salad. Honestly, we've could've came here every night for the rest of our trip and been completely satisfied. I believe that we got the best seat in the house, which was right up front with these windows wrapped around us. This beautiful chandelier hanging above us was just so magical when you're in this beautiful city. Due to the fact, that us two ladies were sitting here, we did get a couple of passer bys gawking at us. We did have a great experience, but did have to hunt down the waitress to get our bill.

Funny enough a couple of ladies arrived five minutes later than us had been served prior than us (apparently having the same thing). We've had two portions of meze. Frankly having been in other Turkish restaurants before our expectations were much higher. We got just two slices of their typical salami, a micro slice of halloumi (that required the magnifier to be seen), two rolls (one fried and one wrapped in the vinegar leave). All the rest was standard vegetables and some rice just "thrown" in the fish to make it full. A separate dish split in three between pomegranate dressed salad, hummus and another yogurt sauce). Two pita breads. All of this for £14.60! This dish wasn't worth £10. Sadly my phone ran out of battery, otherwise I would have posted a picture too. Not to mention the lamb chops for five of them. £18.60 worth meal which was probably £12. And one chop was even not a chop but a piece of joint full of fat. With surprise we've had to pay also the two additional pita breads. No way to come again. Highly unrecommended.
