Pizza is really good and a wide selection for all tastes. The price is right too. They have a number of pizza options for around 120 crowns ($6) and one per person will work for most hungry adults. I have not tried any of the pasta options so I am no help with that part of the menu. The beer menu is pretty limited which is strange for a Czech restaurant. They do have Staropramen 11 which I happen to like a lot. But if you are looking for Pilsner Urquell (aka Czech "Prazdroj") you will be disappointed (but you will find Staropramen a good substitute if you are into pilsner type beers). They have outdoor dining available on the street and I have always enjoyed eating at those tables. The inside is not bad but in the summer it is a little hot since the tables are close to the brick oven where the pizzas are made. Service is good too. Call ahead and get a reservation for an outside table on hot days.

We are early diners and the only couple near us were also Americans on holiday. Our server spoke excellent English and guided us through the menu choices. After an appetizer of tomatoes and cucumbers in a light dressing, I ordered the sirloin in cream and my wife the trout filet. The food, like the service, was superb. For the main course, my waiter recommended a Schnitzel with potato salad. Just to get it out of the way, but the potato salad was almost better than anything I've had in the United States. I thought we were doing it right until I spent one day in Prague. The Schnitzel was also delicious. Perfect with the salad, the provided a blend of flavor and substance I desperately needed. All in all, this place was a great experience in Prague. The staff could not have been anymore nicer as I left with an itinerary on what to do during my time in Prague. The food and service were great. Don't be fooled by the location and stop by if you're in Old Square.

I'm so glad I stopped in. It was kind of a hidden gym, everywhere else around was so busy, but not this place. You can get away from the crowds of tourists here. Such a beautiful outdoor view overlooking the little river. They do have indoor seating as well, but as I went on a warm day in early September, it was pretty hot inside. The pisna was great! And service was quick and food came out quickly as well. Check it out!

The sauce seemed to have been made from a can (1 star off) as the diced tomatoes tasted different than the whole tomatoes that were added to the dish later; the whole tomatoes tasted way better. My husband got the pinsa alla diavola, which was like a spicy pepperoni pizza. It was fine, but reminded me of a pizza at a kids' birthday party (1 star off), maybe only slightly better. I made a reservation a month in advance, but did not know I had to specifically request for tables outside on the river. When we arrived, only a few outdoor tables were taken, but was told the rest were reserved, so we were seated indoors instead. When we finished our dinner, the same few outdoor tables were occupied. I don't know why the restaurant couldn't just stagger the guests for the outdoor tables according to their reservation times.
