Located right next door to a Turkish restaurant, I've passed this place several times before I realized that it wasn't part of the Turkish restaurant. For some reason, this time, I actually noticed the sign painted on the window stating that they specialize in Syrian cuisine. Ok, interest peaked. Decided to get take-away this time. Settled on the shwarma plate with lamb. The plate comes with salad and hummus. The hummus was delicious! Rich, creamy, with the slightly-sour tang of tahini and garlic. The lamb was pretty good, but I would return for the hummus. Also, the owner (I think) added - for free - a dessert to my bag.
