This is definitely $$$$ restaurant and not quite 'Middle Eastern'.
Tried the 5 course signature dinner:
Comté, artichoke, semillon pear, truffled Little Hill Farm honey, roasted walnut tarator (We could only taste the pear with potatoes)
Wagyu beef tartare, coal roasted beetroots, onion buttermilk, sorrel oil (soft raw beef and a lot of beetroot)
Roasted swede, fennel, cured pork neck (we were expecting a slice of meat but got a sliver)
Braised short rib, BBQ young vegetables, oyster cream, malted beer jus (hallelujah! An inch chunk of meat that was really gamey)
Red wine balsamic strawberries, strawberry curd, shortcake, egg white (highlight of the dinner. The egg white came on it's own in a little pot that was meant to be a palate cleanser but most of us stared at this money shot for a bit and had a little taste)
The 5 course dinner started at 6.30pm. We were a very large party of 40 and will admit that the restaurant was full however, an average over an hour in between courses was a drizzle on the parade. Dessert was finally served nearly at 11pm and we quickly left right after.
Unfortunately we left hungry. Better luck next time. read more
