Was one good size mushroom stuffed with walnuts and covered in cheese. Watercress salad on side and little sides of fruits and nuts. The dinner portion prob would have been 2 mushroom but with the soup it was a lot of food. Hubby had cordon blu- but this one is made with pork. Tasty and tender, with fries, hot and crispy and sautéed zucchini, delish! Two others in our party had chicken with Spoetzl and zucchini as well. No one was disappointed. Great atmosphere. They do not have English menus so make sure you read German or have a translator like google. We ordered the fish and chips and the pork snitzel. Both were very good. They have a decent wine menu but we opted for the wheat beer, which was very good as well. The lake view with the castle on the hill was awesome. It is a little pricey but I would eat here again.

But I opted for the evening's special: Schweinshaxe, or a large roasted crispy pork knuckle. Served with roasted potato slices and sauteed green beans, it made for a generous and ample meal. The meat was a bit red near the bone, but still quite good with a nice layer of fat over the lean meat. My friend got the lamb, which I tried a bit of, and that was quite nice, too. That dish came with soup and salad, too. Interesting art sculptures outside the building rounded out this place for a nice dinner out in a homey atmosphere.
