I do remember the cashier who took my order saying "you want a pesto pizza" so that's where the mixup occurred. I picked off some of the tomatoes but dealt with it. Overall the food was good. This is by far the best New York style thin pizza in the Northeast Kingdom, if not the entire state…read moreof Vermont. It's a red truck with a built-in brick oven. As of March 2023 when I wrote this, they are parked at the northwest corner of US Route 5/Main & Sias/Western Avenue. This is across from Cumberland Farms. The loud red truck is hard to miss. He is generally parked there W to Sat from 11 to 7. $4 dollars per slice or $20 per pie. Two slices will fill up most regular-sized adults although I'm sure a growing teenager could knock out a whole pie on a good day. The whole pies are huge, thin crust New York style but they hold up and won't flop easily. Nice tang to the sauce and a bit of car and pull to the crust. Very fresh. They also do catering for events and have a Facebook page where you can follow their locations. If you are in the Newport or Derby area, this is a no-brainer. They are not too many choices here apart from Domino's, Vermont Pie and Pasta, and Hoagies. This beats them all by a country mile. Check out their Facebook page for any new info.
