We just arrived for our first visit to Lódz Poland and decided to eat at Restauracja Polska, Inside it has a nice old interior from the 30's decorated with wood and brass, a nice stained glass window in the foyer. After a brisk walk a couple shots of cherry vodka warmed us up a bit. We shared a salad, i had a bowl of beet soup with dumplings, very tasty! My wife had the mushroom soup which was also very nice. For my main I ordered the Duck, nicely cooked with blueberries and apple sauce and some kind of pasta or small dumplings . My wife had the pig knuckle which was also very nicely cooked and came with sour kraut and mashed potatoes. We split cheesecake and a Apple tart for desert, the cheese cake was excellent and the tart was absolutely amazing. It was a great meal and the service was good, only complaint was the cheesy 80's music that kept repeating the same songs and our salad didn't come with dressing but they brought us some on request.
