Ordering a burger from a Czech restaurant ina tourist square is our mistake, but I still expected fresh meat. The waitress didn't ask how to prepare the meat. Typically this is a sign that it will most likely be well-done due to poor meat quality. Upon first bite, we both tasted a sour aftertaste. At first, I assumed it might be a sauce that I've never had before. But a few bites in, we were certain that the meat tasted sour because it was old and not fresh, definitely noticeably. We callers our waiter and explained that the meat was unbearably to eat, and perhaps dangerous to continue eating. We didn't want to get poisoning during travel. Our waiter inspected the meat and said it was totally fine. It was about 11 and completely dark, so we couldn't understand what he could visually inspect in the dark. Bacteria is not usually visible. Anyways, he said "we always do our burgers well done and prepare the meat fresh sail since we serve them every day". It is always a bad sign when the restaurant employees admit that they cook burger patties well done. This is the most obvious sign that their meat is not fresh. They don't prepare their ribs well done because it's a popular dish and the meat is fresh. Basically, I would not recommend the burger from here we left this place paranoid as hell about possible stomach problems. My raspberry fizz lemonade satisfied. read more
