This place is close to my house, so I thought to give it a try. Off the bat, one of the best places for customer service in Prague (I understand this isn't saying much coming from the USA but by European standards it is unheard of). The staff is very friendly, even if you speak broken Czech like me which is always nice. The menu is reasonably priced and has a lot of czech specialties. I had some fresh bread, their large draft beer and ice cream which were all good (and all for 85 crowns).
The biggest downside to this place is the inside smoking. Even if you don't smoke you're exposed to all of it anyways as the doors and windows are always closed. You can opt to sit outside however it may not matter if the smokers move outside too...
Overall I did like this place but probably wouldn't go back due to the amount of smoke inside. It gave me a headache, so unless you're a smoker I wouldn't really suggest this place as a regular hangout. read more
