Entering it, you can feel the atmosphere of past ages. Once you enter Agiu you don't feel uncomfortable, as this place is not formal at all. The serving girls are really professional. They know the menu and can feel what would you like to eat 2night. We started with a plate of cold Greek pastes, then we had calamari marinated with caramelised onions, and chicken with peppers. All we ate was just perfect. We felt as we came for holidays in Greece. The prices are not high. Everything is just as it should be. I strongly recommend it. BUT remember to have cash on you, as they don't accept credit cards.

It is in a renovated chateau in the middle of a park. We sat outside which was very pleasant. The servers were very cordial. We were able to find food that would appeal to our daughters. Excellent grilled chicken breast, minced meat patties. I had a starter of hummus which was excellent. My family also enjoyed the grilled eggplant. Here's our experience. 1) Food: The menu (there's one in English) is organized around weekly specials and permanent food. We ordered the corn soup, triple cheeseburger, and mini doughnuts. Every plate was beautifully presented and delicious, but the corn soup took the cake. It's the best corn soup I've ever had. Even my daughter loved it. The burger was delicious! It's cooked through, but that's typical in this area. Ask for a bowl or mayonnaise for the fries. The mini doughnuts come with two on top of mascarpone that tasted more like ice cream. The caramel sauce is rich and the peanuts on top were a nice touch. 2) Drinks: Their drink list is longer than the food menu- beer, cider, wine, coffee, juice, milkshakes, etc. The local hard cider is very good. My daughter enjoyed her apple juice. 3) Service: From beginning to end, it was top notice. Friendly and the timing between dishes was spot on. Be sure to tip between 10 and 20% at the end. 4) Space: With a garden courtyard and minimally-designed dining space, it's beautiful. Restrooms are clean. 5) Price: Everything came to $33 USD. The place just changed it's name and decor. Looks much better!! I was very impressed they left most of the historic architectural details and made the renovations that really compliment the space. Only to find out they were having a jazz concert in the basement. Another great space, freshly renovated and good acoustics. Had a great time!
