This place is such a little jewel in Ostrava's restaurant scene. Beautiful sandwiches, soups, salads, and frites at very reasonable prices, delivered with efficiency and speed. Everything tastes very fresh, from the breads to the vegetables, etc. I also like that they offer "petite" side portions, so that you can get a smaller helping of soup for as little as 10 CZK. The menu is in both French and Czech, so if your Czech isn't up to snuff, you can have the French to refer to! Bring cash, as they don't accept credit cards. read more

Stopped for lunch while driving from Auschwitz to Oulumouc. A lovely surprise. Staff was very friendly. Food was fresh. Dining room was very comfortable. There is outdoor seating as well. Definitely recommend. read more
