I was happy to see Hermes is opened during Christmas, which is uncommon in CZE and refers to different tradition of this Greek restaurant, owned by Greek immigrants and placed in a city with significant Greek minority.
Thus, Hermes was rather busy on Dec 25 and I got quite a long wait for my food - Haloumi, which was amazing.
The restaurant is consisted of two floors, of which one (level +1) is stated to be non-smoking zone.
But as the top level is more a gallery than a separate floor, I was pretty annoyed with cigarette smoke from downstairs anyway.
There's one more disadvantage in this place with great cuisine - water you only get bottled and for a fee, including water for your dogs.
P. S. Make sure to have Hermes' baklava as a dessert after your meal! read more
