Classic highway rest area. Small but clean and well maintained. Restrooms and vending machines - no other services or travel literature.

As the day passes from day to night the road becomes more and more clear. The crowds of cars thin…read moreout and find themselves someone else. The car seems to need a little more fuel to keep going too. Let's get out and stretch and see what this store offers to its travelers. As you pull open the doors your vision is scanning. It's made a discovery'. They offer cinnamon sticky rolls here for real. It's the real deal too. It's a true Cinnabun! Can you imagine a warm welcoming cinnamon roll that's freshly made with all the bells and whistles. Come to think, did I share that it's warm too. Oh my let's have a bite of it too. That fork penetrates and you get that taste. It's so delicious. How long has it been since I've have had a real cinnamon roll! Can you please tell that I'm starving and this warm cinnamon rolls that has caramel all over the top of it was my blessing in disguise . Aside from the cinnamon rolls this little stop is well lit and seems safe. The rest rooms are on the upper floors and way in the back of the store. The store is organized particularly nice. Our familiarity of the brand brought us to choose this stop here. They offer a small little place to dine and eat. The twins ended up with a pizza and some sort of snack. For me, the cinnamon roll just made the half way point for me on the way to home. Now it's back to the road yet again.

Two parts, restaurant and hotel…read more Restaurant: provides a place to hang your coat, has boosters and high chairs, and has magazines and papers available for guest use. Kids menu is complete (fish, chicken, grilled cheese, spaghetti, pb&j), and is reasonably priced. Kids meal comes with a free ice cream with good behavior. Water tastes good! Hotel: So funny, I thought our room smelled great, my husband thought it smelled like they were trying to cover a stinky smell with a good smell. It is an older hotel, but clean and tidy. Fridge and microwave in room. No ice maker in the area yet, so guests can get ice in the store. Movies and bluray for rent, but players not available in room (you had to have your own). Unfortunately, when we woke up in the morning, we were both in so much pain we thought it would be days before we felt better. Our backs were killing us. The price was right, in a pretty remote area, with pretty good amenities, but the beds were painful. I know everyone has different bed preferences though, so this may not be a problem for others.

Tobacco products are also available for those that partake. While the food in the restaurant portion is fairly good, at a somewhat higher price, a warning must be given about the Sunday buffet. It runs from 11 AM to 2 PM, has a fairly large selection of food (including ham and roast beef carving station), they tend to overdo it with the chopped green peppers in many of the dishes. They use the dried, chopped, commercial variety, which would not be so bad in itself, but they tend to use too many in the dishes where they are used, and the taste can become overpowering. I have no quarrel with the wait staff, as they have always acted professionally with me. I also have nothing against the menu items, but there are a few other places in town where I would rather eat.
