There's also a Hardee's attached, which makes it a convenient stop for a quick meal. The employees were friendly and even wished us safe travels, which was a thoughtful touch. Curiosity got the better of me as to how that works: a charge, fee, how much? Being too shy to ask, I inquired of Google, which tells me that, yes, there's a charge in most cases, $10-$15, soap, towels provided (reasonable!), but due professionals who is in a certain amount of gas/diesel (50 gallons was suggested), they get a code for a free or reduced-cost wash-up. Or only concern was getting the EV charged up to get going again. 56 cents per kwh is no bargain ( hence, not 5 starts), but when you're traveling like we were, you don't count the cost. We were just glad things worked like they were supposed to.

My fiancée NEVER put his hand on his gun. But i bet the pilot won't release any video showing him touching his gun. And the police didn't even have to have proof of what we were being accused of. The car area has a slight curve and a complete loop around the services building. This is great for ensuring drivers are at reasonable speeds as they enter and pass through the rest area. Even at 7:30pm, the restrooms were clean. There was no trash and no papers on the floor. The vending machines were well stocked and the facilities were decently lit.
