There were people in welcome center helping you with any questions you have . Lots and lots of parking outside . Loved the LOVE letters outside the welcome center . Parking was easy, but had to walk to the building, which was kind of far, but we could use the excerise. We then went to the restroom, and i used the women's restroom in which i thought was very clean, and had toilet paper and was stocked. We got there at night, so there really wasn't any people at the stop, but there was plenty of information about travel inside the area. After we used the restroom, we headed back onto the road, which was easy to find.

The building is bright and clean with tons of brochures for local attractions and even an information desk--perfect if you're planning your route or looking for something to do nearby. The vending options are next level. They have everything you could possibly want: snacks, sandwiches, energy drinks like Red Bull and 5-Hour Energy, and basically every beverage you can think of. There are multiple vending machines so you're never waiting in line. Parking is excellent, especially if you're traveling in an RV or driving a big rig--they've got plenty of space behind the station. Plus, there are security cameras on the building, which really makes you feel safe, even at night. Restrooms? Super clean, stocked, and equipped with high-speed air dryers and a few paper towel dispensers if you prefer that. Overall, this is exactly what a modern rest area should be: clean, safe, and packed with conveniences. If you're driving through, definitely stop here--you won't be disappointed!

They have hot water which is different from any others ones I've stopped at. They don't have automatic flush which I prefer because I don't like it flushing before I even get through and splashing water up on you. They do have automatic hand dryers and no paper towels which helps it stay clean. Its on the small side compared to other Rest Areas but I felt SAFE. It gets 4 STARS from me.

Other than idling trucks all night, it was quiet. In the morning, the men's room was still in decent condition. There are vending machines and a spot for dog walking and if you feel like it, a set of stairs that will take you on a nature walk. Just remember to never hike alone! Upon inspection I discovered the shower floor was dirty as well as the carpet annnnddddd there are still currently Semen stains on the walls ( I have attached pictures below) I called the front desk that following morning to explain and he says the cleaners are coming, when she came she did not clean the wall and after she cleaned the bathroom the shower floor is still dark with dirt. The towel also had dark spots smh. The only thing people ask for when booking a room is for it to be CLEAN.

Our room was opened by someone else's keycard in the middle of the night!!! Yes we forgot the deadbolt but we were scared to death when other people came into our room. The front desk said "oh we have a slight lag in the system!" No you have a serious problem!! Nobody should be able to enter your room. I demanded a refund but was only 'giggled at' for feeling insecure there! Beds are terrible, carpets filthy, bugs scampered along the walls. Closet smelled of dirty hamster cage bedding. The sidewalks outside are a tripping hazard with broken concrete. TVs don't work! I'm reporting this facility to the Virginia Health Department... it needs to be shut down!
