This space is really amazing and really large. I have attended a few events here and really appreciate the space. You can do anything here from hosting a mini trade show to shooting a production. The ceilings are very tall here. There are also some smaller studios too. I saw a complete studio set up with a kitchen...bring on that cooking show!!! This location also has a couple of editing rooms and a sound studio too. So if you need to shoot, edit and produce a production, then this place has everything for you. There is also a great view of the city skyline from the top floor. There is plenty of street parking but I highly recommend that you watch your back and make sure that you do not leave any valuables in your car in plain view, unless you like broken windows. The area is very industrial and in the evening can be a little secluded. It is always better to be safe then sorry. read more

This is such a great space for events and the like. I have been twice for two very different events (both whiskey tastings) and the place was completely transformed. The acoustics, projection, lighting options, etc is fantastic. I would recommend anyone give this place a try if someone is hosting a special event. Similar to what someone else said - it is in an industrial district and feels sketch when leaving later in the evening. Find a friend or walk briskly to get to your car! read more

This is a pretty cool space that you would never guess hosts different types of events from simple cocktail tastings to weddings. It's definitely an open space that allows you to let your imagination do the work. I was here for the Johnnie Walker Event and was quite impressed with the layout and event itself. Wow! Fancy pants studio! I'd never been here before, but this place is state of the art. HUGE, warm, clean, organized. Everything you want int a digital studio but rarely seem to get! Very lovely space! Hope to return for another job! read more

On September 20th, the team at Resolution Digital Studios was busy setting up for one of the most important events of my career, the launch of Marlene Atelier. Not five weeks earlier, the venue that had originally committed to the event had a change of heart and after sending out invitations to over 850 people, we found ourselves without a venue. My dear friend Ryan Dean from Kapow Events came to the rescue by introducing me to Rob Tovar and his team. With little time and resources on my part, they stepped up to the challenge and threw an event that now almost 4 weeks later is still being talked about by the guests. RDS Chicago is one of the great studios in the midwest. I shoot gobs of car photography and their main room is 5,600 sq. ft. with 40 foot ceilings, controlled lighting all around, and with a gorgeous white cyc along the long and short walls. I can't say enough about the staff either. Always helpful and willing to lend a hand or a creative eye. I can't recommend these guys enough. read more

I must say that I was extremely impressed with my experience today with the Resolution team. I was at their facility setting up on their Green Screen stage. Towards the end of the set up and before my client walked in, I was speaking with one of the editors. He offered to take my test shot into one of the editing suites to show me exactly how it would key. This reassured me that my shoot would be fine. Once my client arrived, he was a little on edge and by walking him down the hall to show him the test, resolved all of his questions and put him at rest. The shoot went great and I had a happy client. Resolution took me on a tour of their facility and I was totally blown away. It truly is a one stop shop. I had no idea that they had multiple edit suites, graphics and sound design rooms and an attached event staging company with a warehouse full of technicians and equipment. For a studio in the midwest, I'd have to say Resolution is on par with some of the best nationwide. The space is huge with 3 stages, editing suites, green rooms, and anything else a production could ever need. I would definitely recommend that if you are shooting in the Chicago area that you try the space out. read more

Wow! What an amazing space. We shot here a few weeks back and not only was it more than comfortable but we were able to have our wrap party on the rooftop deck. The view was amazing. I totally recommend using this space. read more
