Nych Art Gallery is an extraordinary venue. We had our daughter, whom is an inspiring artist, Sweet 16 party at the gallery. When we arrived for set up at the party we were blown away by the stunning artwork featured at the gallery. The Art was perfect for the party displaying beautiful images of women! The location was ideal for the party goers who traveled both from the north and southside of Chicago. Parking was easy to find and the owner provided great instruction for the use of the property! I surprised my husband with a 40th birthday party and Nych was already recommended to me by the planner and another friend of mine so I decided to check it out. The space was a beautiful blank canvas with art around the walls! It really gave me the opportunity to turn it into what I wanted and it was nice and clean. I loved that there was a TV available and there was also a small prep kitchen. The space ended up being perfect and the decor and ambiance was giving the perfect 40/40 vibe! All of my guests were impressed! Phillip, the owner was very easy to work with and he even helped me when we were checking out of the space! We hosted a 15 year anniversary celebration here. The venue gave my event such a vibe! The artwork served as an amazing backdrop for the event. We hardly did any decorations with the exception of adding simple table linen. The host Phillip and Audrina were great to work with. They were attentive and responsive. What I liked most was that the instructions for facility use were all laid out. I would definitely use the facility again. read more

I attempted to rent this venue for my art show in 2021. I had use this business when they were at the old location on 18th st. Unfortunately the owner Phillip who I hadn't met the first time was on site. I think he separated from his business partner who was sweet and personable. After suggesting several dates Phillips was not very accommodating. He had his own art on the walls and was more concerned with his work than me renting the studio for my show. He also wanted to charge me to remove his art and display mine for a one day show. Needless to say I left and it worked out better. I used 9twenty eight venue instead. Better location, parking, and cheaper. And the owner of that locale made sure I had the best show ever. Maybe he was having a bad day but he will never have to worry about me spending my money there again. First impressions are EVERYTHING! read more

Had an epic yoga session with Asia Chantell here surrounded by the acrylic stylings of painter Baldur Helgason. Located just off the highway in Pilsen. We had a stretch and strength style class, no balance. We rocked to reggae and basked in the beautiful sunlight streaming through the giant front windows. In the back is Robotic Mind which appears to be a creative workshop space selling clothing w/ unique design. Baldur is right up my style alley, fun and twisted. Will definitely be back for shows/classes/workshops. read more

I recently hosted an engagement party at this venue. I had been looking around for almost three months and was starting to lose hope. I was looking for something specific, black or brown business, fly, and relatively central to friends and fam. I reached out to the owner (Phillip) on Instagram and within minutes he responded. He took the time to actually call me to work through my vision and budget. What I found most impressive was his willingness to help during the most important week of his life..HIS WEDDING. Super grateful I was able to find this space. The layout itself is perfect for a cocktail setting vibe. High ceilings, lots of space to move around and the art on display was a nice touch. The day of was seamless, as we were given meticulous instruction. I never had to reach out to anyone or wonder anything, EVERYTHING was carefully thought out and made available.
